Perfection. This was my first visit and I have already booked to go again. The food was absolutely excellent, we chose from the lunch set menu , the portion sizes were really good, food was well presented and tasted amazing. I can honestly say that the pannacotta was the best I have ever tastes, the perfect consistency, paired with an exquisite fruit compote with the perfect balance of acidity and sweetness.

Great concept with a restaurant and bar scenario that could work well. Went for Christmas works 'do' and restaurant performed well if a tad expensive. Bar didn't really deliver and it's hard to know why. We just left and found a better atmosphere elsewhere which was a shame. Maybe they need to reposition the dj offer. Definetly worth a try. Good staff and decent food. Just.need to get a better bar restaurant synergy.

Visited with family for a pre-Christmas meal. Received a friendly welcome on arrival. Service was first rate the whole evening. Quality of the food was incredible. Have dined here many times before, and shall be doing so again.

Really lovely restaurant, very attentive staff who even took our coats upon arrival and was constantly topping up our drinks, checking how the food was and even allowed us to choose when we had our mains after the starter. Felt no pressure to leave once the bill was paid. Food was really nice! The mushroom pasta dish could’ve done with a little more seasoning but all of the food was delicious! It was the perfect venue to celebrate my mums birthday and would definitely return again!

It was one of the greatest taste experience. Everything was amazing, even small cake added to espresso was full of taste and flavour. My absolutely favourite restaurant in Southampton.

We went as a family of six too celebrate my wife's birthday this past week on a Friday night.The restaurant was busy but not loud lots of conversations taking place on nearby tables.The food was outstanding from starters mains and dessert.Polite staff members who assisted in explaining various dishes on the menu.Overall a fantastic dining experience thank you Marco's - highly recommendVegetarian options: Good choice for vegetarians and vegans

Gone downhill since it changed hands from Simon's Wine bar. Bar staff seem vacant. Toilets vile, Ladies had big puddles all over the floor only 1 toilet in use as one was out of order the other one was missing a lock. Gents general as bad. One saving grace DJ the same & exceptional as always.

We were a little disappointed overall wiyh our experience here. The foid was delicious (although a little over priced), but the place seemed to lack any atmosphere and the staff were constantly hovering over you and looking to see if you had finished. Which we found a little off putting.
Have returned here for several meals. The food is really enjoyable at a great price! Lovely restaurant with friendly staff! I would definitely recommend a visit.

Visited Marco’s today with family. Can say that service is ate very high standard. Ilya managed to keep our atmosphere at very high end. Food was just what you are expecting. We ordered stake and lasagna and that was awesome.Will highly

Absolutely lovely atmosphere here! I was looking for somewhere local to me to have a nice burger, I didn't do my due diligence into the details of the restaurant and turned up without a reservation and quite underdressed to what is an upscale and fancy restaurant. However in spite of this I was treated entirely professionally throughout and felt welcomed.The staff were lovely and a member of the bar staff remembering that I had gone in for a meal went out of their way to ask how I had found my meal when I was sat at the bar afterwards.The food was incredibly good, as I imagine you can guess I had the beef burger, I had bacon and a flat mushroom as additional topics. The burger was cooked to perfection, perfectly juicy and exactly the fix I needed for my craving. I then followed this with a tirumasu, as it is my favourite dessert. Whilst it was one of the best tirumasu's that I have had, unfortunately there was an issue which meant I had to make a complaint (for this reason alone I've elected to give a 4/5 on food, but it certainly would have been a 5/5). However, the staff were great again in this scenario. The server listened to what I had to say and immediately decided to comp the dessert, to be honest I enjoyed it enough I would have been happy with a smaller discount and even expressed as much however they insisted.I elected to get another drink from the bar to make up for the difference. As previously mentioned the waiter at the bar was also really attentive at this point.In total my meal of a burger with two additional toppings, dessert (comped) and two drinks came to ~ £26, I believe it would have been ~£30 had the dessert not been comped and I not consequently bought a second drink. All in all for the quality of the food and service it's a fair price. I'm a student so I don't think I can afford to frequent, but I will definitely be keeping them in mind for any dates/special occasions.

I had a booking but when I arrived the premises were shut! I see a review below shares this experience. The response from the owner says thar this was annual holiday. Why did they take my booking? Surely if it was annual holidays it would have been planned for and bookings would have been blocked out for the period?! Also the owners response is that the closure was on the website and there was a notice in the window, This is completely false! Shocking!
