So we knew it was Mothers Day but it doesn't excuse poor service, having to ask 3 times for our drinks order and asking before we had drinks if we are ready to order food...that my friends is a no no. I have recently eaten at the Ivy at Winchester had better food for less money. Come on Ocean Grill sort your service out and your food accompliments. I cannot fault ypur meat...amazing but the rest..sorry Very Disappointing.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff was nice and friendly.The first half of the meal was outstanding. It was above my expectations. Garlic bread without cheese, 3 oysters, and fritto misto. 5 star restaurant.I cannot understand why, everything went downhill the other half of it. I ordered a risotto ai frutti di mare and I was served spaghetti. I'm gluten intolerant. I have had it anyway as I dislike wasting food and also as a courtesy toward the staff that have prepared the plate. I was also given a side plate to put the discarded shells. I had half mussle shell to put in it. 24£ for this is not acceptable. Someone ordered a margherita. This resembled a greasy pizza with very low quality cheese on it. It looked like from a kebab shop and had nothing to do with the crispy and lovely garlic bread made from pizza dough we ordered as a starter. The paccheri were OK. Unfortunately, there's no children's menu and the fixed menu ended at 2pm, so the child had to spend a lot not eating much (as the pizza was left due to the poor quality). Also, the mandatory service charge is something that we are seeing more and more. Please leave it to the american culture. 3 stars for the mixed experience and I won't have a full meal here again due to the service charge (10%) as i should have been offered for a discount instead due to the order error.

Food was very good and fresh. Service was very polite and friendly. Restaurant looks warm and cozy inside, but with elegant twist.I really enjoyed it.The only thing is when You order main food decide on portion size, otherwise You'll get large.

Wow! This place is my new fave! We booked a table for a later dinner at 6.45 but arrived at 7 and we were still served with top class service from DEMIS. Our food was brilliant and the tiramisu is a MUST! Will defo come back here again the decor was also just well done!
I was here for the first time and it is an incredible place that I gladly recommend to visit. You will receive excellent service, delicious food and drinks.

A good option, especially for meat. First, the setting is nice and classy but not too stuffy. They start by showing you some of the fresh meat and seafood options available (it is actually optional whether to look), which may be a little cliche but I actually do enjoy. I ended up ordering two things from the display. My son and I both had large (and they were large) Madagascar Prawns flambéed tableside. The prawns were large and the flavors from the preparation were excellent and complex. I then had the rack of lamb for a main and it was cooked perfectly, again a nice side portion, and they were nice enough to swap a vegetable (green beans) for the potato (I don’t eat potato) without having to ask (I simply said no potato). The only slight disappointment was the tomato and onion salad, while not bad the tomatoes were a little mushy and light on flavor, which is to be expected in January but they should have taken them off the menu. Overall, a nice, relaxing meal and I plan on returning.
