Generally alright for a takeaway pizza - crusts can be a little dry sometimes though. Toppings have always been fine!Delivery could do with some work - online progress marker is often wrong/very ahead, and when it's been out for delivery for 45 minutes with no gauge of how far it is can be very unnerving!

Poor service. Poor food. Pizza arrived 2 hours late, the drivers (yes two of them as it was in their way home from work) offered me a boost energy drink as they forgot our drinks. Pizza was cold and am 99% sure my friend got food poisoning from the pepperoni pizza.

Not what you'd expect for £28 for 2 pizzas on a deal! Called to complain, first guy I spoke to was great. He said he'd replace the food now or next time. I said I'd do it next time as Papa John's was my go to, maybe it was just a 1 off. Next time I called to claim said pizzas I was told I wasn't aloud to claim now and it was a different manager. She wouldn't give me her name but she sounded young and of Indian accent (only way to describe her). Her customer service skills were awful. Ended up taking it further with the complaint.. no reply as of yet. So £28 down as it stands, hopefully il get a reply, who knows. Never again!

You seriously need to change your pizza boxes!! We ordered 2 XXL pizzas yesterday, and the chemical smell from the boxes was awful! It ruined the flavour of the pizzas. We will not be ordering again from your establishment!!

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered a pizza only for two delivery drivers to turn up with three pizzas not knowing which was mine. Confirmed order number which they could not find so they then left leaving me with no pizza and said they would come back which they never did. I was left with two hungry children and £20 out of pocket!! Will not use again I am disgusted!!!

my husband ordered 2 large all the meats pizza one with vegan cheese and BBQ sauce with other one with stuffed crust. We order through the app but there was a technical glitch and the pizza with the vegan cheese and BBQ sauce was made as a original all the meats. My husband has a lactose intolerance and we needed it to be changed. We phoned the Totton branch and we were told that the app has never had a glitch and it was our error. My husband did check the order before putting it in. After 5 mins of arguing to the person on the phone, we would then told that a pizza with what we originally ordered would be ready but we had to collect it from the store despite us paying for a delivery service and they also wanted the wrong pizza back so that they can replace it with the new one. I drove to the store in Totton, to be then be greeted by a very rude member of staff who was also the same person that we spoke on the phone. The staff member told me that he now didn't want the wrong pizza after telling me several times on the phone that he wanted it. He also went on to say that he didn't want to send out any drivers because he would have to pay them. I mentioned that we paid for a delivery service and that I shouldn't need to drive all the way to the store . His response was at least you got a free pizza. I complained to Papa johns through their website regarding this issue and I received a email from their customer service team, saying they refuse to talk to me due to the order being placed in my husband's email than mine and that they would be breaking data protection rules talking to me, even though we both dealt with the rude staff member in question. After all this I would not recommend ordering from papa johns.

Ordered 4 pizzas for my ward last night, marked as delivered (incorrectly) at 12:25, called over ten times to try to find out where our pizzas were to no reply. A friend finally got through (on his first ring), and food arrived shortly after, but almost an hour after it was ‘delivered’. It was missing the energy drinks we ordered, and was quite lukewarm, but otherwise tasty. Poor rating for the awful communication, only salvaged by the fact that we did actually get our pizzas in the end.

The manager (he gave me the name Casper but I’m pretty sure he was lieing) shouted at me on the phone when I asked him to cancel my order as it hadn’t even been accepted on the Uber eats app….. he then later called to apologise to me and started shouting at me again food arrived late and cold and will never be using this particular site again.
Papa johns was very good until the last time I ordered. They seem to have a problem with putting sauce on the base so what you end up with is a very very dry and unenjoyable pizza. I got a free pizza as compensation for this but it was even worse!!! Amazing that the feedback wasn't taken in to consideration and improvements weren't made. Just go to domino's instead at least they do a better job these days and they listen to customer feedback :).

Awful service and delivery time. 80 minutes from placing my order I called to check where it was, and said they hadn’t even received my order from just eat and they would send it out and should be 30 mins tops. Over 60 minutes later since that call and late, so I call again to be told there driver misplaced my order!!over 3 hours later from my initial order I am still waiting, worst delivery service of any takeaway I’ve ever had in my entire life!

I ordered a pizza with separate chicken wings for home delivery yesterday, Thursday 2nd December at 1750 hrs. 15 mins later it showed as being despatched on the tracking device. Half an hour later I phoned and was told it was on its way. I phoned again 20 mins later and they said it was being delivered as we spoke. Finally at 1932 hours I had a phone call from the driver who spoke poor english and was at a different block of flats to mine but insisted it was the correct one. I had to go down and find him toget my pizza. It was firstly stone cold as were the chicken wings and then was pretty tasteless. NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU ARE JUST WASTING YOUR MONEY!!

Super Pizzas delivered HOT just as if picked up from store. Delivery was little longer than expected, but the look and taste of the pizzas made the wait worthwhile! The Greek version with feta - what a revelation!

been using them for ages butlately too many mistakes. wrong order tonight got someone else's pizza. Called to complain chap was not apologetic just said he needed to speak to manager. After alot of shouting in background in a foreign language he asked again for me to confirm my address (this was the 4th time) then said order I did get will be collected when my correct order is delivered. Within minutes mine turned up cold and chewy. So driver made a complete error not checking what he was delivering they phoned him to says what's happened he has turned round delivered mine and collected the other person's. Hope they complain too as there's would be cold as well.. Got no apology. Not good PJ.
