Sat 23rd March, large party of 16 guys, very well looked after by excellent waiter who couldn’t do enough for us,everyone commented on the food which was to an extremely high standard……worth every penny, would 100% go again soon.

Contacted my daughter through her profile on a recruitment website and invited her in to work a trial shift on a busy Friday evening. After her trial shift they completely ghosted her. Ignored her e-mail and phonecalls regarding the position. They used her for unpaid temporary labour. Extremely dubious business practices.To add as per the response. We did e-mail Red Dog Saloon and was told it would be looked into. As per the job never heard back. So beware they use recruitment sites to fill staff gaps with unpaid labour.

We came out for family lunch.Ordered food and drinks fineFood was ok burgers came out on ridiculously small plates that they only just fit on the lid fell of my burger which the waitress caught and put back on.All in all not great won’t be back

Food poor quality. Platers well over priced share £60+ for a meal which was no more than £30, no none alcohol free drinks. Wash room Facilities apart from ladies were out order. Meals and drinks were incorrect. Total rip off sadly, would not recommend.

It’s an okay place for a but of food. It’s always crowded and the tables are too close to one another, feels like you’re having dinner with strangers because they are this close to you.

Paid £13.50 for a meatless meatloaf, it was just two burger patties not like meatloaf at all. Was very disappointed in there vegan/vegetarian optionsVegetarian options: 3 options for mains

This is my place to go, I recommend Red Dog to everyone as the best spot to eat in Southampton, hands down. Authentic Texas style Barbecue food with the decor and scenery to match. Tiago served us again today, service from him is always 10/10. Smoker was broken today so the menu was limited but food was still great!
Amazing food. I got a double titan burger and was very impressed with the size and the quality of the meat.

I went for the first time at the end of March as part of a large group. The staff were brilliant - a glass broke and several staff members got together to clear it up before we sat down at our table, which was completely cleaned. The food was good but I probably made the wrong choice but others in the group liked it and shared platters, which made it quite economical.My only complaint was the hustle and bustle of people queuing for the bar whilst waiting for a table, which made it very difficult to hear. Additionally, the queuing people were waiting, drinking and chatting over the free trifle, which I felt was unhygienic and should at least be covered.Overall it was a good experience and I had a good evening with the group but would have been better if the waiting people were not gathered all around the tables and bar.

Pretty sure I got food poisoning from this place Saturday night! As soon as I got home I was really unwell. Both my partner and I didn't enjoy our food, it wasn't hot and took such a long time between each course coming out. Definitely looked like they had overbooked on tables too as we had to wait about 20 mins after our booking time and it was extremely busy. Felt bad for the waiting staff, they seemed to be under a lot of pressure. First visit and Unfortunately wouldn't recommend.

Probably the worst food I’ve experienced for a long time and avoid this restaurant at all costs. The food was cold so we had to send it back and we shouldn’t have bothered. Tasteless, greasy and overpriced. The restaurant was dirty and smelly. The only minor positive was the waitress who tried her best but even admitted to us that they had several complaints about the food.
