Not my first visit to this station, but first appalling one. I visited today just before 6pm. There was no indication that there are any problems with the station, so I just pulled in and tried to get some petrol. The distributor didn't go to zero on first ten attempts. So I looked over to where the staff were and they were busy having a laugh - once they saw me, they made a weird gesture, so I treated that as 'we just zeroed it for you', went back and there was no change. So I went inside and the staff said that 'the system is down, try another distributor'. Tried two other ones, before they told me that 'the system is down' and none of them are going to work!!! No cones anywhere to keep anybody else from doing the same thing, no notice on the distributors - just two lads happy as hippies in an empty shop. When I told them that we could use a notice BEFORE we attempt to get some petrol, I got a shrug and a silly smile - that means NO WORK for now, as the system is down. I get it personally, don't get me wrong. But this is professional environment, or so I thought... Please, if you can't provide the service, could it make it known to anybody interested, Shell?I will be avoiding this petrol station, as staff lack basic training (and human empathy).

45p a gallon more than other local garages. Shop elsewhere if money or getting ripped off matters to you.

Just a normal fuel stop but you can only enter from the south as there is no right turn allowed when driving towards the south

During my tenure of 6 and a half years at shell Swaythling, I experienced a work environment that left much to be desired. The retailers and management consistently fell short of expectations, and their conduct was, in my opinion, disgraceful. It's disheartening to reflect on my time there, as it was marred by unprofessionalism and a lack of respect. I hope that future employees find a more positive and respectful workplace.

Very strange/unnatural......Angel, you are too cute..My inner child has kinda been dashed by statistics.Random, I'm not sure if UK propaganda is broadcasting the truth about the Russian coup, Wagner commanders are not looking to end the war.

All I can say is, this is a convenient place for filling up on your journey. Long or short distances and, it has a tyre pressure machine that is not very busy most times.Petrol prices may be slightly higher than supermarkets.

Great for fuel, but not for fuel for the body. Bloody expensive £5 for a pastie, I put it back and went to greggs......

Great service from young lad Khan. I called in when the engine oil light came on. He helped me look up the correct type of oil to use and I picked up a bottle and was on my way. I’ve since got the car serviced!
I visit this petrol station regularly as it is very conveniently located close to my house. Whenever I do, I always get excellent customer service from young Saqib. He's always very polite, professional and helpful.

Went past here a while back. Was served by a young ish lad Saqib was his name if I remember correctly. What a guy really put a smile on my face. Would defo visit again with such great customer service.

Great service! I made good friends like Yasir and Saqib the 2 brothers Yasir left but its a shame Saqib will be leaving and also the manager and Indu are very polite along with the few staff members there

I've always come here for fuel and my morning breakfast and have never been disappointed only on some occasions i dont get my croissant ? but its ok as the service and politeness provided by the staff is brilliant so I'll let that one go. Overall Saqib is brilliant and knows how to deal with customers. Also other staff i dont know the names of are really good too. ???
