We came here on a recommendation. The starters we had were excellent, but we were a little underwhelmed by the main courses. We thought they seemed quite mild with not much depth of flavour despite asking for them to spicier. The Bombay bread was ok but it would be nice to have the option of naan bread too. Some things on the menu also seemed quite pricey - for instance the Bombay bread was almost £5 for essentially 1 piece of flatbread. The wait staff were all very friendly and helpful but they seemed to be struggling to meet with the demand on a busy Friday night, which would be helped by having more staff on.

The food is exceptional. It is incomparable to all the Indian restaurants in Portsmouth that i have eaten in. No sign of commercial pastes, frozen Samosas etc, even the chutneys appear home-
