An almost empty pub. Food was well reheated. Does not sell sparkling or still mineral water. Food was expensive for what it was.

Bit disappointed with the Sunday Roast, portion size needs looking at, only 2 & 3 potatoes on the 2 we ordered & veg option was only was carrots and peas, bit more variety needed but the Meat was goodOther meals were good quality and tasty.

Popped in to try out the new menu today with my family and the food was amazing!! Kind and friendly welcome as soon as we arrived. Sensible pricing for food and drink considering the current state of things as well! We’re looking forward to returning to try the Sunday Roast very soon!!

A group of us girls came before Christmas and the chef wasn't in (sick) and the lovely bar manager Clare did everything with the help of one bar staff. Both of the ladies couldn't have been lovelier if they tried. Food was amazing, service was top notch and they both deserve a pay rise! Can't recommend this pub enough, it's got a homely feel and staff and customers are always friendly and welcoming.

The owner is a super fantastic person, he is funny and unfortunately you rarely find him there but the place is amazing and the parties with a DJ on the weekends are the best! Super recommended to spend a pleasant time with your friends.

Called in at 3 pm on a Friday, to find just a handful of people spread out in the pub while heavy, indie, mostly emo music blared, with poor quality sound reproduction, out of the speakers. Bizarre. And spoiled the opportunity for a pleasant afternoon chat over a pint ?

Walked out of town hoping to get away from the high street pub chains and get some decent food. Food here is disappointing, I had the ribs and my son a burger. Both very poor, burnt chips, tasteless ribs, soggy burger and limp salad. Added to the fact that the Guinness nor any ales were available, so it was lager for me, then. I like the pub, the ambience is ok, it's good for sport and it's comfortable but guys, if you're doing food, make it reasonably well so we dont walk out feeling that we should've gone to'Spoons instead??
