Has recently changed hands, no ale, no food, and very few customers, music far too loud, always a shame when this happens to a previously good locals pub

Was in a large group for a Sunday Roast, choice of Pork, Beef or Chicken.Food was delicious, expertly prepared and served at the same time.Extremely lovely management and staff.Seems a very popular place.

I may be a little bias about this establishment as I have been frequently , but, the service is excellent the food, when food is on, is of generous portions and very tasty the staff are very friendly and helpful and when live music is on it is has a very lively atmosphereKid-friendliness: Kid's are always welcome at this pub and are catered for with fruit juices, sweets, crisp snacks available

Awful. Made to feel very uncomfortable, was laughed at and stared at by what i assume were regulars. Was ignored at the bar for a very long time. Walked out in the end and went to a lovely friendly cafe called Sevda. A turn for the worse, i used to drink in the fawcett about 20 years ago when it was non judgemental and no one was made to feel like an outsider, seems like the attitude there has gone back in time!!
Wow. We tried the Sunday lunch here- just by chance- and had an amazing lunch. Portions were generous- I didn't eat all of my lunch! You have to book a day in advance

Wanted to go somewhere local to watch the England v USA group match in Qatar 2022. Local pub with local atmosphere and brilliant staff who were so accommodating. Not too many in which made the experience so much better with no hassle. Good food to boot! Only so sorry the boot was not as good as the food! Thank you all so very much!
