“The venue is beautiful. The staff are excellent. A very comprehensive menu as is the wine list. Great to see local real ale available. Unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. Cheese souffle was bland and not very cheesy. The crab starter was nice but needed more seasoning, with a little more pepper made it delicious. The mains, pork chop was under cooked twice, but the flavour was amazing, the salmon was cooked to perfection but again bland and just needed seasoning.”
