Arrived to celebrate a birthday for a table of 8. Unfortunately we did have to wait 45 minutes for our table to be ready. After about 30 we were offered a drink on the house which was very appreciated. My steak was ordered rare as I like it, it was more bleu (not a problem, I like that too) sadly the steak was seriously lacking seasoning. My wife had the burger which she thoroughly loved, saying it was possibly the best burger she has had. Service and staff were fantastic. Not a fan of the location as parking is limited for the amount of covers the place can take. So all in all a mixed review, would I return... Yes, I think so

Simply perfect evening. Staff attentive and courteous. The food was superb. Best Steak I have tasted in a long while and the ladies lamb got a thumbs up. Very tasty food and wonderful experience as always. Well done guys ???

Last minute booking for a nights stay and so pleased we did! After a day shopping and exploring in Winchester we wanted somewhere nearby to stay overnight to have dinner and breakfast, The Bugle Inn stood out by far! Easy to find and free parking. Check in was quick and we were shown to our room which was above the bar and restaurant. The room was a good size, very comfortable, lovely bed and duvet, shower was super hot (needed given how cold it was outside). Dinner was amazing!!! I had the crab to start, bass for the main and the cheese board to finish, absolutely stuffed, also a great selection of beers, wine and spirits. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic, fresh, hot, plentiful and set us up for our onward journey. The whole experience was only achieved by the amazing staff, they were all so efficient, helpful and attentive. The Bugle Inn is definitely worth a visit if you’re passing or make a special trip!??

Love this place......we go back time and again. Amazing for a crab sandwich for a summer lunch but have never had a bad meal here and mussels and fish is always really good.

Have eaten here several times over the years (not a local). excellent slow cooked shin of beef with mash. The food was served hot and the staff super friendly. 2 courses with tip approx £30 each - good deal. I would add they had a beer from Brixton Brewery on draught - one of my favs and usually only found on draught in London. Would return
