This is the best Chinese takeaway around. Food is always hot and well prepared. Very tasty and freshly prepared. When friends and family visit we order and everyone agrees top take away. Really like their satay fried chicken, chili and garlic chicken wings and chow meins.

We hadn't had a takeaway for quite a while and weren't expecting anything special. However we were pleasantly surprised. Delivery was quick. The food was hot. Even the chips were still crispy and not soggy.Portion size was generous, and most important of all tasted really nice.Definitely will use Lucky House again.

Absolutely disgusting customer service! Charged to pay by card when it’s illegal to ask a customer to pay a fee for a card payment. The owner screaming at the young man who took our order because he missed something. Even though we paid what we usually do. Charged us nearly 18 for rice and chicken balls.Never, ever will we use this Chinese again!!

In short; 20 minutes late for a collection, wrong order and over charged us.Ordered from here regularly as the chicken Kung Pow was nice. Don’t recommend anything with beef as it’s that soft, strange ‘meat’. However, I won’t be ordering anymore following a really negative experience yesterday.Firstly, I ordered at 7pm for collection at 7:50. I double checked it would be ready for this time as the football started at 8- it wasn’t ready to 8:10 (20 minutes later!!).As it was a £57 order I double checked the order and she only said one beef curry, I reconfirmed ‘2 beef curries. 1 with mushrooms and 1 without’ and the girl even went and checked she could do without and said yes. Repeated the order back to me with both. Needless to say when we got home- there was only 1. Called up and the guy said we only ordered/ paid for 1. I said no, we ordered two and reconfirmed with the lady, who was English so this wasn’t a language barrier. As this was for me, I went without as even if I reordered I wouldn’t be eating with our guests so seemed pointless and I just made a sandwich.Lastly, I then calculated up what we did buy to see if we had paid for the curry and found we overpaid by £4.90… so wondering how many other times they’ve ripped me off.They offer free spring rolls if you pay cash but I have previously paid cash (ok request) and then not received said spring rolls.

I see the negative reviews and appreciate that slip ups happen from time to time. Over the years of trying chow mein, curry and other foods from the Chinese I never found that traditional flavour I loved so much from the 80s until now. Thank you so much for setting off a party in my mouth. Simply delicious ? I only wish you had a restaurant so that I could bring my family from Gosport to enjoy the exquisite tastes, like I have. Will definitely be ordering from you again. 5* menu! Hats off to the chefs ☺️

Twice I've ordered here and food is missing, so had to go back to collect leaving our food to get cold. Ordered crispy duck this weekend and had no pancakes. The chow mein is also very bland, with no flavour at all.
Worst Chinese takeaway ever. What a shame on Chinese! The man in this takeaway is extremely rude. Absolutely terrible attitude. Never gonna place any orders at this takeaway

First time I’ve ever ordered food here. It was awful, tasteless and bland. Swiftly followed by spending the entire night with upset stomach and diarrhoea. Avoid. If I could give it minus stars I would.

Haven't ordered from here for a while and it was delicious! Had a variety of dishes from special fried rice, chilli chips and chicken chow mein, to sweet & sour chicken balls, crispy duck pancakes and spring rolls.There were 6 of us and we ordered and paid easily online. Food was delivered hot and in a timely fashion for a Friday night.Will definitely be back.
