4 of us enjoyed a perfect lunch time meal. 3 of us had the Smothered Platter. We would all highly recommend it. Staff and atmosphere were very good. Will definitely return again.

We booked a table on Thursday afternoon, for Friday evening for 24 people. Amazingly, they were able to fit us in, and all they asked for was everyone's pre order - which makes things easier all round anyway. The food was really really good, and our waiter Matthew, was honestly brilliant. We use the red lion because its local , and affordable ,Tonight we dropped in and Sam on the front desk found us a table in the restaurant She done a very good job attending to our requirements , all the food came out on time and hot , the only downer is the breaded mushrooms NEED A GARNISH not just a bq sauce , looks very plain on the dish , havin said that we will be back , thanks to Sam for serving us great job
