Does what it says on the tin . Good food shop, Timson's on board and a decent cafe, that does a lovely roast in Sunday's, too.

Been quite an improvement in the staff, staff attitudes and shopping experience. Shop premises are clean and better-presented, competitive pricing, well stocked, nice flower section and interesting new things to try. Well done on the improvements.

Absolutely MANIC on Saturday morning queuing up the isle... I quickly remembered why I shop online. But was ok, had what I needed so can't complain.

A local, great shop. Plenty of car parking too.

It's not so good since the takeover. Offers are good, but prices are generally higher than competition. Frequently out of stock of basic items like skimmed milk. Need to check labelling against price tags. We used to get a regular £5 back with More card but points are no longer given on the things we buy.

Reasonable supermarket overall; but Morrisons' corporate attitude is all wrong. Typically - instead of raising prices, in line with inflation, they seek to disguise matters by maintaining the price of an item but reducing the quantity (i.e. packs of cheese altered from 1 kilo to 830 grams, wonky potatoes reduced from 2.5 kilos to just 2 kilos , and so on). Many people will not notice and are thus simply deceived; but the practice leaves a very bad taste for those who do. I now shop more frequently at the local alternatives.
The big Morrisons at Horndean certainly sells more varieties than the two shops they have in Portsmouth, so i go there occasionally to shop, nice cafe to.

Wanted to have lunch in cafe as always excellent BUT was told a wait of 1hour 20 minutes for food.

Great place to get fuel and a bit to eat just off the a3

Lovely helpful friendly staff. Sadly, not such a good selection of bits for vegetarians, especially ready meals. Glad that they are close so it's easier to get things you forgot elsewhere or that you fancy for a change. They have some things that you can't get anywhere else locally which is useful.
