Nice environment but they need more staff. I also didn't enjoy paying £7.50 for a "Reuben" that was no bigger than toastie. Likely won't go back.

We absolutely love the food and service at fresh to desk. It’s always our go to, and when we have tried alternatives, they are never as good! Fiona is a warm welcoming face when you come in, and really takes the time to get to know you. Great little cafe

So I’ve passed here & sit at Whiteley Lake for well over 15 years but my hunger got the better of me today & I ventured into here as I’ve seen a lot of business people go in- Well I wished I didn’t to be honest hearing the germs being coughed up on entery then seeing No hygiene standards being adhered to with no Hair nets worn or any gloves being used in the food preparation area behind the counter?? So I tried ordering some chilli/Chips but they said they don’t do chips (easyiest thing to cook) So settled on a Bacon baguette not expecting the lady to grab streaky pre cooked side garnish bacon put into a microwave a few seconds & dished up in a roll??I was shocked at how bad this was put together surely this bacon is for toppings on pizzas not to be used as a main?? When I order a Bacon Baguette anywhere else I have to wait for the bacon to be cooked & is thick & nice this place clearly Loves to cut corners for a quick buck that leaves a sour taste that stays with you as you place what they have given you in the Bins provided outside… I had to laugh when the lady asked if I wanted a loyalty card ???????????????????????????????? I politely said I won’t be back.. I’ll carry on visiting the lake like so many other people passing this place- It’s a shame cos the location is amazing & they could make so much money by selling the right food..

What a lovely place Fresh To Desk is and so well kept secret! You need to know where it is.. tacked away in between office buildings.. an oasis!!Smart, pleasant decor, polite, helpful staff. Their menu is versatile, there's something for everyone with reasonable prices.Our food was freshly prepared, very tasty and served promptly although it was a busy lunchtime.We will never miss an opportunity to visit them again.A big thank you.

I ordered 3 sandwiches to pick up for my daughters and I. When picking them up the following morning.. lovely friendly staff and the sandwiches were amazing! The breads and filler choices are fantastic or build your own.. I will be be back and highly recommend!!
Bad food made with cheap ingredients...but the worst was the attitude of the staff... condescending, rude and more interested in talking to each other than serving paying customers.... avoid at all costs!!!

I've only been a few times in my 13yrs working in the park, the place looks nice but my last lunch was very underwhelming. The fish finger sandwich was literally just the skinny standard Birds Eye fish fingers from the supermarket and the bread looked like the cheapest white bread you can get. It wasn't busy when I went, I'm guessing this is cost cutting? Other food did look better.

I've been eating excellent breakfasts and lunches here, from time to time, for the last 10 years or so. Although a little pricier than some alternatives it is certainly worth it, for the always friendly service and very good food. Christmas specials include delicious filled rolls: turkey/cranberry/stuffing and pulled pork/apple. Recommended
