Skylark Golf & Country Club

We booked the large function room and adjoining bar at Skylarks for my Auntie’s 90th birthday afternoon tea, and it was absolutely wonderful. The food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly helpful both in the lead-up to the event — patiently answering all our questions — and throughout the day itself. They assisted with setup, provided music facilities, and ensured all 50 guests were completely looked after.\n\nDebbie and the team were truly exceptional, and we would highly recommend Skylarks for anyone planning a similar celebration. The room offered fantastic views of the course, and we were never rushed — it really felt like a relaxed and special occasion. A fantastic experience all round!

Wildwood

Good venue at Whitely for a great value Italian meal. The Monday to Friday seniors offers are incredible value for money.. Large menu and a decent choice of wines and drinks.

dim t

I just had my first visit and was thoroughly impressed! The food was spot-on, especially the Chicken, Cashew & Coriander and the Phad Thai - both bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was friendly, although I think a bit more attention could elevate it further. Overall, it was a brilliant experience, and I'll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend!

wagamama whiteley fareham

Love, wagamama's in Whitley is the best one around. Far better service and wait time then southampton or Winchester. If you are feeling a wagamamas come to this one. Also the kids meals are such good value I always get a 2 kids meals as it is the same like £12 for 2and you get the same amount of food as the adult while the adult is £17 i think

The Restaurant and Bar

Nando's Whiteley

Food can be a lucky draw depending on the day and time of your visit. Staff are always consistently pleasant and kind. Will always come back for their service but would choose when.

Starbucks Coffee

Update 2026*
Visit a few times, lots of choice, beautiful coffee, inside has been refurbished very nicely, toilets clean (disabled) but others not working.. on a weekend?
Service slow and a bit mumbled, some getting drinks well after others have ordered.

Visit here quite regularly, great staff, great drinks, lots of places to sit.

Myself at a recent visit was attempting to save a pigeon that had just flown into their window and severely injured itself, sadly did not survive but the girls working were super helpful. (2025)

Subway

I don't usually write reviews but credit is due. I have a fantastic experience every time i go to this subway in particular, i especially want to recognise Diljan for his outstanding customer service. He is incredibly welcoming and professional making his customers feel valued from the moment you walk in. Both lads that work there are so nice. My order is always prepared with great care and attention to detail. nothing is to much trouble for them. They defiantly know how i like my SPUD lol

Its rare to come across such excellent service these days.

Parsons Collar

Great food at dinner and service was excellent but the cooked breakfast food was poor very under cooked eggs and coffee took 30 mins to arrive at table... lol it arrived after breakfast was finished ? but would recommend for dinner just would go for a the cooked brekkie .

Caffè Nero

We often go here at lunch time for a coffee and maybe a cake, to get out of the office. It's often busy, shame it's not a bigger one, so we can't always sit down. However the staff are lovely and seem very patient despite how busy it can be at times. Im glad it's close by, makes a big difference to my day getting out the office occasionally.
