This is a place I frequent with work colleagues for various celebrations, a casual drink or lunches. For the most part the service is good bar one or two isolated insodences of rudnes but overall still friendly. Food is good and so is the atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs with even surfaces on entry although getting to the garden from inside there is a singular step down which might be an issue but the garden is still accessible through a side garden gate. With paved terraces

The food is awful. The burger bun was stale and rock hard. The burger itself was so overcooked and brick

Bit cold and a draft, food was good not enough visitors

Overpriced pints. Staff were neither friendly or unfriendly just present.

No stars for food for reasons I will explain. I called in to book a table for this Friday at 8pm. It wasn't busy but took ages before I got served. I asked if I could book a particular table for Friday which he said yes. He then turned on his computer and looked for some blank paper. He then came back to me and said I will do it later and proceed to serve someone else. He never even asked for my name or contact details. I am not expecting the table to be reserved for us on arrival. The service and manner was pretty dismal

Food was nice and staff are very friendly but the pub was quite chilly! Luckily I was able to get the food brought to my room, which was right next door at The Lodge, didn't find out until after that I could have ordered via a QR code but that wasn't a big deal. Had the large nachos with chilli which was £16, including the 10% discount. There were way too many jalapenos but other than that it was tasty.

Generally a nice atmosphere. A little bit pricey but worth it, in my opinion. Clientele are generally very nice. Food is reasonable. Staff are great.

Very disappointed by the food options. I had the steak pie. Very poor imho. Very tough and too chewy for me. Others liked the fish and chips and chicken wings with hot sauce. It was busy but I would choose elsewhere in future.

Awesome experience from start to finish with friendly staff attending to our needs. Delicious food and good size portions.

We had a sharing plate of cheesy nachos with sour cream, salsa and guacamole, it could have served 4! Fish and chips were soooo good, the batter was especially good. Full English breakfast the next day was fab.

Fantastic this afternoon in there beer garden. Beer and food going down rather well. Would recommend.

Mediocre food from a limited menu nothing to write home or get excited about.Staff are friendly and helpfulVery much a hotel bar rather than a local pubParking: Parking is via adjacent hotel carpark.

We are fairly regular visitors to stay over at Parsons Collar, Whitely. We need a ..twin bedded …room as my husband is disabled… the last 3 visits after travelling 250 miles each time is a DOUBLE room although I do ring beforehand to check, always assured it’s a twin…the last visit I ended up with a double again…so late at night I had to separate and make up for two single beds myself…..today when I arrived the 28th December for a 3 night stay I had booked a comfort twin bedded room ( which again I rang to check). assured it was a twin… so where did we end up…the room furthest from reception and it was a double!! Even though my receipt stated a twin...so back to reception, moved to another room.,STILL A DOUBLE…I’m exhausted…so moved to yet another room where the room STILL had to be changed to a twin. Not sure where the staff at Parsons Collar are supposed to communicate in the interest of the client, but it is seriously and sadly lacking. I will say we choose to stay here as it’s very near my family, and the rooms are fine…but please, please get your act together when clients get the room they have booked. Mrs Johnson

Took grandkids for a meal tonight. I couldn’t eat the steak pie as meat was so tough. The mash was cold and lumpy. My grandson’s steak he said was ok but very tough. He ate it as he was hungry.Won’t be eating there again I’m
