Case Italiane

Right by the station, small and cosy coffee shop with great coffee. On a Sunday we visited they only had a choice of two food items over the counter (but they seem to have a cooked menu), we tried both and they were pretty good. Lovely elderly resident dog for

Really good coffee here - ordered a flat white which was very good and creamy. The default milk option is oat milk which is a nice change. Service could be friendlier but coffee is excellent.

This cafe does the best hot drinks in UK!I've been travelling around for a few months and this has been a standout for drinks.I'm a big Chai fan and this is easily one of the best Chai lattes I've had. We also tried a flat white which was super creamy and smooth. And the mochas are very yummy! Not too sweet, and very rich. I would recommend trying the mushroom mocca if you want to try something new. It's a bit more earthy.

I'm not really from around here and popped in for a coffee.Absolutely fantastic service, really good coffee and a very short walk to the station.

Incredibly disappointing. After a long walk around the beautiful city of Winchester me and my girlfriend decided to stop in for a warm drink in a quiet atmosphere. The young woman who greeted us was extremely rude, and sent us both glares after ordering as if we had just ordered the wrong item? We were met with dirty stares throughout the entirety of the ordering process, and felt as if we weren’t welcome. The dog she had brought in was very welcoming and friendly, however I can’t say the same about the customer service.Extremely lousy. To use the toilets here you will be “interrogated” about why you needed to go, and what exactly you were doing?!The dirty glares that we received throughout the stay from the host, was enough to make us both uncomfortable. We were consistently pestered throughout the stay by the woman who seemed extremely unprofessional, tending to the dog rather than the customers, and questioning every single aspect of why we were there. It was an unfortunate situation, and was likely just the result of a bad day; however it was appalling to how much was being said about the owner of the cafe, and as to why they were being blamed for everything!Enough to say we won’t be returning, and we’re extremely disappointed by the lack of customer service offered.

*revised review* 5 stars all around !! Located right next to Winchester train station this modern, aesthetic, zen cafe offers something different to the average coffee house. My chai spiced latte was traditional, presented beautifully and tasted very different to normal powder packaged drinks. I can also highly recommend the mushroom mocha it is sensational and a great bonus to your day.

We really enjoyed the lunch, drinks and table service all whilst sat in the garden, it was a nice time. Just a bit taken back by the price, for 2 cheese burgers with fries and 2x Guinness this came to £49.. The waitress was very good and welcoming, but i cant help but feel that when the other guy settled our bill, if he charged us for the wrong table..

I had the longevity cacao drink with oat milk, sweetened with coconut sugar. It was super tasty, spicy and sweet. A lovely menu that offers something different to your average coffee shop. The atmosphere was great, lots of plants and bench seating with cushions, relaxing musicAlmost felt like I was on my travels somewhere abroad!I would certainly come again and maybe bring a book next time to chill for a while.Dietary restrictions: Non dairy milk available, I had oat milk

Spotted this on the walk to town from the station, I was greeted in such a friendly way when I asked about coffee beans and bought a fancy looking bag of coffee for a gift. Would like to return purely due to how welcoming the staff member was.

Couldn't face cooking, so took advantage of the free child's meal with a main meal on Tuesday evenings. The weather behaved so we sat in the spacious beer garden. The children all enjoyed their pizzas and ice cream, while we had big meaty cheese burgers and chips. Happy children, happy parents!

A really cosy coffee shop selling tasty rich coffee and pastries. No frills, simple and quite similar to Scandinavian coffee shops. I like the anti clutter of its offerings. I feel for them that they have idling traffic out their window all day. I’m having a middle age rant about pollution most days at the moment.

Great coffee in a cosy, intimate space.
