I have been a fan of Chinese cuisine for about fifty years now, and have eaten in cafes and restaurants off the tourist track around Britain and North America and it is so nice to encounter authentic Chinese food, rather than the usual "Chinglish" westernised homogenisation. The prices are the same as in every other Chinese in the area, but the portions were enormous. The special fried rice had lumps of meat, not crumbs, not a pea in sight, and what's that? two king prawns! The duck in plum sauce was also lovely. This is not a pretentious restaurant, if anything its rather unassuming and seems to mainly deal in takeaway. However, I shall be back.

I still believe, for a sit in, this is a hidden gem. We have been using this restaurant weekly for the past 6 months plus.... the food is always so hot (temp) and always so delicious... then the bill comes... wow... hard to beat.

Enjoyed their lunch time £9.50 menu yesterday. Good quality for the price and generous portions.

Superb, affordable, and genuine Chinese food. The fact that most of the dining-in customers are Chinese is an excellent recommendation.

We were looking for somewhere to have dinner on Friday evening, when we came across this place. We were surprised to see that we were the only customers in the place, but looking at the precious reviews might explain it. However, despite the lack of atmosphere, the food was very good. We had a vegetarian set menu. One of the dishes was forgotten but very quickly brought out by the very friendly waiter. The meal and drinks were really cheap, especially for Winchester! I do agree though that there is a constant revolving door of deliveroo drivers marching in and out of the restaurant which, didn't bother us but I probably wouldn't recommend this place for a romantic meal. But if you just want a reasonably priced evening meal and are not too fussed about atmosphere, then I would say it's worth a try.

Ordered takeout on a Friday night (7 July), peak season, peak time. Hot food, quickly delivered and absolutely delicious. Exceptional work and very much appreciated. 5/5 ??

Really gone down hill, poor service takeaway food is rubbish.

We weren't sure about this place after reading mixed reviews but were pleasantly surprised. The food was very authentic chineese and good size portions. Service was freinndly and quick. Price was good too.

Went in for takeaway. Nice choice of foods including dishes not normally available outside China towns

First and last takeaway. Delivery ok. Food terrible I mean all of it. Binned it. I feel like they robbed me. Don’t use this place.

Not much in terms of atmosphere but honestly, the best and most authentic Chinese I've ever been to in the UK. There were 2 of us and we ended up ordering over £70 worth of food for the 2 of us but it was all worth it. Some dishes you would struggle to find outside of China. Was so happy to find them so I could finally try them. The ox tongue in particular was very good. Definitely going back to try more

I don’t usually leave reviews but this was beyond awful. Order of two dishes took 2 hours to deliver, arrived with one dish missing and the rest of the food completely cold, had to recook it for it to be edible. Even after recooking, the food was tasteless. We’ve never not demolished a Chinese before but unfortunately most of this order went into the bin. A shame too as it’s not the cheapest. Won’t be ordering from here again.
