We stopped for lunch on a cold wet day and we're just about the only customers. Good old fashioned pub fare.

Very happy to have found The Swan when travelling from London to Devon. We stopped for lunch with our 3 dogs and were made to feel very welcome. We had a lovely lunch and enjoyed it so much we stopped for lunch on our way back a week later. Very happy to recommend.

Two of us here for Sunday lunch here 26/11/23.Absolutely super sunday roast (1x beef 1 x pork).Beautifully cooked and plenty of it. Desert chocolate fudge cake and ice cream was extremely good.Welcoming and friendly hosts, nice relaxed dining room at the back.We would recommend and return.

Travelling along A34, we wanted somewhere to eat instead of services! We've been to The Swan before so gave them a quick call at 1.15pm and by 1.40 were sat down with a bowl of traditional, hk.emade French Onion soup and a lovely chat with the landlady. Definitely better than service station food!

Stopped here on our way to Dorset. Gave them a call to check opening times while we were in A34. Fantastic homemade French onion soup and lively chat with friendly landlady. Dog friendly. Reasonable prices. Beautiful pub. Much better than service station food! Our fourth time of visiting and will do so again!

Two minutes from A303, much better than a service station! Good beer, amazing hospitality and welcoming atmosphere. Toddlers' play area and books. Kitchen opened at 6pm on Friday.

Awful food, overpriced, rude staff, worth the drive to longparish, dog mess all over the beer garden, regulars stare at you as you walk in the door in silence

We were a family party of 7 for Sunday lunch. The food and service were amazing and we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
