The yard is a beautiful location, the atmosphere was great. Really enjoyed being there, service was good too. Just the burgers well a little bit disappointed with, over cooked chicken thigh barley any meat on mainly batter. The chips were strangely greasy over done. It all looked amazing but the taste was quite there. The price was expensive for what it was. But definitely go again maybe have the beef next time.

Great food. Great service. Lovely relaxed atmosphere! We ordered a buffalo chicken burger, a buttermilk chicken burger, rosemary fries, sweet potato fries, coleslaw which was refreshing and delicious, made with mint. Cheese curds with a spicy salsa, which were amazing! We drank mocktails. Everything was fabulous! We have been to another popular burger shop in town but A rule of tum/ aka the burger shop is a step up from the others. We will most definitely be back.

Entering the stablishment was fine got told to sit anywhere.. after sitting for over 20 minutes in an empty restaurant, I personally had to approach the staff member to come and take my order… drinks came swiftly food not far afterwards.. the quality of food burger was just below average…. Ordered the bbq wings which are battered!. The battered wings where not fully cooked/ barely cooked then lathered (bbq sauce) and served waited awhile as we didn’t get any cutlery or napkins seeing as it was a burger… personally has to go and receive a hand fully of napkin’s from I’m assuming another member of staff…not once did anyone come and check until I acknowledged of other work suttlely that no body had one and ask how the meal went.. gave the server the food and she had left one culprit wings behind… the view to the kitchen was clear leaving the door open.. I seen sous chef and other chef brush off the stituation!. So I carried over the remaining wing still tact For them to examine… Borge the sous chef also supporting chef both of thier mouths dropped and walked away with their heads face sing down… I was greeted with either a manager/assistant or supervisor she didn’t announce who she was.. I got told the wings have been compt what more do you want…. I wish I expressed a perfectly cooked patty.. abhtger byn to fit the over cooked patty… oh yeah not to be served raw batter for the bqq wings!. Can still taste the raw flour now an hour later… if anyone wants picture or updates please message me on [email protected]

Oh my god, food still as brilliant at it was when you first opened. It was worth the two hour drive from Aberystwyth to eat mackerel and gooseberries. Divine. New layout is fantastic and Sam was kind and attentive. Having not been since 2019, I was scared you might have lost your magic touch. Far from it. The food was even better than before.

Fantastic burgers, lovely staff. Salad substitute with classic burger was really good. Worcester burger was very tasty.

We stopped here for a late lunch yesterday while passing through Hereford and it proved to be an excellent choice. All of the food was excellent but I have to lay particular praise at the feet of the croquettes I had a as a starter, which may have been a monthly special. Service was also really friendly and the staff made our family feel very welcome.

I had never visited 'The Burger Shop' prior to this bad experience. The building was nice, but the food was an issue. I was part of a large group (perhaps 50) and everything had been arranged with the shop prior to the night, including orders. However, to be served both the side of bacon fries and the Golden Arches burger I had preordered took around two hours. I do not like to think myself overly worried about serving times, but I believe that two whole hours is a bit excessive for a pre-ordered meal. When the burger arrived it was stone cold. I left without having eaten my whole meal. There were other minor inconveniences also, but nothing too serious. Overall disappointing from my experience, but I understand smaller groups have had better experiences in the past.

Very good lunch. Polite and friendly service, Julia J looked after us well. Attentive without being intrusive in any way. Very pleasant. Enjoyed it.

Great tasty food at a reasonable cost. Friendly and attentive staff. I ordered a vegan Katsu burger and rosemary chips and both were delicious. Chips were hot and crispy and the burger was perfect and had lots of toppings. Would come again when back in local area

I have enjoyed 5 star burgers in the US and this does not get to the starting table. I specifically asked for pink and juicy and got well-done which was not juicy. The sweet potato fries were average as well. This is fine if you have average expectations but not higher according to refined expectations

Visited recently on a Friday evening and the food and atmosphere was great. The server was very attentive ensuring that we had everything we needed and that our food was good. The only criticism that I have is that of the four staff who had long hair, three of them had their hair down. On a number of occasions I saw a girl who was pouring the drinks touching her hair then going back to pouring drinks. Another girl had lank, greasy looking long hair that was not tied up. It put me off my food somewhat.

Great spot and staff, fab food. Burger Shop? Excuse me while I look at the roof as I turn my nose. No. Sooo good. Thanks to Tzigany for her excellent recommendations: Buffalo Chicken Burger, Rosemary Salted Fries and the house coleslaw. No buts, so get your butt there. Reasonable, too.

Had a wonderful evening here, the service were quick attentive and made sure everything was perfect. My only complaint would be that it was really cold inside on a day where it was 1 degree outside, and the tables were very close together so I couldn’t hear my partner very well, I understand that these things can’t be helped. Overall a lovely evening and will be returning.

Well what a disappointment!!! Having ordered take out from this restaurant with no issues we decided to take our daughter out for a Friday night treat. We arrived at the restaurant at 6, as a walk-ins, and were told that we could eat but we’d have to have finished by 6:45.. We were seated at a table next to what could only be described as human foghorn, we could hear everything he said, as the tables are quite close to each other. Our drinks ordered arrived, it was incorrect… My daughter didn’t receive her food order correctly… The butter-milk chicken was stringy and tough. However, to add insult to injury the waitress started clearing our table when we still eating!! Then proceeded to rudely advise us not to hurry as they did not need the table now!! My husband complained to the area manager and as yet no apology has been forthcoming.. AVOID AT ALL costs Beefy Boys have better burgers and excellent customer service!.

We decide on going out for New Year’s Eve meal as a family. All I can say is an amazing experience from booking on the phone to leaving. Brilliant it’s what dining out should be. Attentive good service and understanding dietary requirements. Booked by phone explaining that one of us is coeliac and needs gluten free. Not a problem the staff told us what was ok to have. On arrival shown to our seat , drinks order taken . On ordering gluten free options clearly shown and explained to us . Food was amazing , well presented and we were all really pleased with our choices. Paid by cash ( personally refuse to use any establishment that refuses cash payment) All in all great experience and will definitely be using again. Thank you and well done
