We were shown to our table by a cheerful Matt who then let Bec take over with taking our order. Really nice staff that were happy to accommodate tweaks to things on the menu. Wife and I shared some calamari and a portion of lasagne bites, the delicious sauce we stashed for dipping pizza crusts into later. I'm a connoisseur of circular toast and the one I had has taken top spot as my favourite pizza. Alec cooked it to perfection, the dough and crusts weren't rock solid either and tasted just as great as the main toppings.

Delicious Turkish food. We had a similar Istanbul Restaurant in Aberystwyth but it was closed two years ago so having dinner here is a bit nostalgic. Iskender is a highlight and the soup is also refreshing. Highly recommended if you're visiting Hereford.

We tried 2 dishes feom the chefs specialities but they also offer the common dishes such as madras, bhuna etc. Food was delicious both curries were full of depth and flavour. We found the naan dry with a strong chemical smell hence only 4 stars.

What a beautiful little hereford gem. We went for a family Sunday carvery and it was awesome. Beautiful selection of quality meats seasonal and some veg you dobt usually see that complimented the meal no end. Generous portions so wear you lose pants lol the staff are so welcoming and friendly. We will be making this a regular event as the value was phenomenal. Its not the biggest of places which adds to its charm but make sure you book so as to not be disappointed.

Ok we visited Jerkbayltd tonight upstairs in the Wellington Pub in Hereford. Three of us dined until full. The food we got served was amazing and plenty of it. I would recommend getting the mixed platter meals. We had the Island Jerk Sampler, and the Bay Breeze, also added in Island chicken skewers. It gives you a chance to try loads of different items. And at £20 a plate it's plenty of food. We met the main man and his brother lovely friendly people and will definitely go back. You need to give it a try. Chicken wings were fall off the bone, all the way to Brown stew pork and Curried Goat. The rice and peas were spot on also. We finished off with Jamaican Ginger cake and Custard. Try it you will love it. Hidden Gem in the city of Hereford.

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely meal at the Burger Shop last night; the food was absolutely brilliant.

Ironically, we didn't actually try any of the burgers, because the sides all sounded too good to choose just one from! Instead we chose to order four sides to share: bbq chicken wings - full of flavour and so tender, meat just fell off the bones; buttermilk chicken tenders - soft and crispy at the same time, delicious; westcombe cheese curds - to die for, these were a must-have; and the truffle fries - both crispy and fluffy, delightfully cheesy. All of these dishes were amazing; we could not choose a favourite at all.

I would also recommend their homemade lemonade; it's super flavourful and very refreshing.

I think the pricing is very reasonable as the food is of great quality and definitely satiates.

The staff were nice and friendly, making us feel welcome. The atmosphere is light and casual, making it a great place to meet up with friends.

This restaurant is a great alternative to Beefy Boys if you fancy similar food that's less greasy. I would highly recommend it.

We will definitely be coming back soon to try some burgers.

We had a really great brunch here on a Saturday morning. Loved all the inventive menu options, with great coffee and juices. I had the baked feta on a shakshuka-type base, with hot honey, chorizo, poached eggs, avocado and flatbread, which was really exceptional. My partner had smoked salmon on rye bread with eggs and pickled beetroot. Lovely food and enjoyed the urban stripped back surroundings with large leafy plants. The only downside was that it was so busy that service (ordering, paying the bill) was quite slow, but I appreciate the team were doing their best at the busiest part of the week. It wouldn't stop me from going back as this was one of the best brunch menus I have seen in ages and there were other dishes I would also like to try. I felt it was reasonable value for the quality and quantity of food presented.

As pensioners our first impressions were that this was not really our sort of pub and was noisy with lads playing pool and families out for a good time.\nHowever, having just arrived in Hereford we decided to return in an hour when it maybe quieter.\nWe tried a couple of seat positions for comfort but at each table the washable menu cards were extremely sticky, as we're the tables, which had been cleared but obviously not properly cleaned.\nHowever, the very charming and friendly barmaids, especially Amelia S, made our experience a pleasant one.\nFood was delivered quickly. Although certainly cheap eats we felt we would have preferred to have paid more for a raise in food standard and quality.

I was so impressed with the Cosy Club. My wife said do you fancy a date night at the Cosy Club. I have never been there before so I was open to be impressed. Wow was I impressed. Solid Chinese take out and dim sum spot. There is a wide variety of food here. Steam buns, steam dim sum, pan fried dim sum, rice rolls, fried rice, chow mein, you name it! I haven't tried everything here yet but this is what I know they do good here: -ha gaow (shrimp dumpling) -shrimp and chive dumpling -taro dumpling -taro meat buns -sweet taro buns -bbq porn buns -plain steamed buns -steamed tofu skin roll -skip the siu mai - doesn't taste good It's rare when I'm in the city so when I am, I try to buy enough for a couple days. I also freeze some do the buns before and defrost it the night before and taste just like fresh. I will say you gotta mentally keep tabs of how much you're spending; I feel like they try to be sneaky. I've also ordered two of some things and when I got home. Things are missing. Not sure if they didn't pack it or if they simply got the order wrong. Also, I'm not tripping off 20 cents but they tend to round when giving you change. I was supposed to get back 70 cents and they gave me 50 cents.

The real deal. What a special place this is. A proper good old fashioned greasy spoon, but beautifully clean and tidy and a charming, nostalgic atmosphere. Our breakfast was 10/10, the best I have had in years. Fried bread was delicious: clean and not too greasy. Eggs, bacon and everything else cooked to perfection. Even the tinned tomatoes were noticeably better than what you get in other cafes. I intend to return many times. If there was one bit of feedback I could give, it would be to have some music or radio playing quietly, which would complete the lovely atmosphere. Thank god this place exists.

Excellent! I've not really looked for a decent Chinese takeaway since moving to the Hereford area but I've now found one based on reviews of others that I'll definitely be returning to. The food purchased was hot, full of flavour and in good sized portions. It was excellent value for money too and the service was excellent which was provided with a smile. Food hygiene rating is a 5 too. Note that they only take cash as payment though.

What an absolute gem! We visited a few days ago for dinner and even though we were late we were welcomed and made to feel like family! It's beyond dog friendly and my pup felt at home.

The ciders were tasty, the food was incredible and the atmosphere, even though it was quiet, was still welcoming and comfortable. It's not often a pub can get away with not playing music and not feeling awkward, but this one can.

I'm genuinely gutted I live so far away because I'd absolutely love to be a local here just for The Pandy Inn!

I realise the pub is a small local pub and we hadnt booked a table. I had phoned the day before to check the menu as there isnt a clue online. The kind lady read out the menu for me so we had an idea. When we arrived at the pub after a long journey, id say for me it wasnt busy but we could see tables in the restaurant had reserved on, we were happy to eat anywhere in the bar. We got a drink and were told it wouldnt be long for a table. We waited an hour before we were seated and ate. She appologised but it was very late for us to eat at 8pm. The food wasnt great. My lasagne wasnt a lasagne but mince with dried lasagne strips between, no sauce at all and very peppery. The cheese on top was dry. I ate it, as to compalin would cause an issue and we just needed to eat and go to our holiday place to rest then bed. The choice locally wasnt enough for us to leave and go elsewhere. Shame as we were looking forward to a nice meal after a long journey here. My husband had the pie which he said was ok. I felt it was a drinking pub rather than a foody place. The lady was nice enough though.

This place also has decent comfortable seating which makes it easily the best in Hereford and one of the best in the country.
It's a shame that no other Hereford pubs make the effort to stock high quality ciders like Oliver's and Ross cider , most have the usual rubbish from Westons

Visited with friends for 2-4-1 Tuesday steak night. I had the mixed grill which was different as it came with a chicken breast, steak, sausage and gammon, along with chips. Very tasty and well cooked.
It was great to see a pub so busy on a Tuesday evening.

I went with the Beef BBQ Boston, and wow—what a fantastic choice! The beef was perfectly tender, packed with rich, smoky flavor, and served on a fresh, hearty roll that held everything together beautifully. The balance of seasoning and sauce was spot on—just the right amount of tang and sweetness. It honestly rivaled some of the best BBQ sandwiches I’ve had back home in the States.

The service was friendly, and you can tell they take pride in their food. If you're in Hereford and looking for a great bite, Heggie’s Deli is an absolute must-visit!

This is one place you will not regret visiting out in the Herefordshire countryside lovely small village and this chip shop feels very much in the heart of that the quality of the food was outstanding and the service we reserved was Brillant told 15 mins wait time and it was just that two pubs opposite the chip shop so if your waiting easy to pop over have a drink well priced I’d say also and portion sizes would very good too definitely go here again

They do have excellent music events on which I have attended. From a range of acoustic nights to DNB. They have also just started Sunday roasts 12-4pm. What a lovely experience! The staff were incredibly courteous and attentive, and the food was truly top quality. I honestly couldn’t fault a thing—our only regret was not having enough time to try more!
They offer a great variety of menus, including gluten-free options (which were perfect for my brother), as well as a vegetarian menu and kids’ meal boxes, making it ideal for everyone. The battered chips and sausages were the icing on the cake—absolutely delicious.
You can really taste the freshness of the food, and everything was spotlessly clean, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be visiting again and have already recommended it to all my friends and family!

If you are looking for a venue and a team that fully support and champion your wedding being exactly how you want it to look and feel then look no further-The Shack Revolution is the wedding venue of dreams!

Before we even got engaged we were really keen on the idea of celebrating our marriage here. When we discovered we could in fact legally be married here too we were ready to make it official and get it booked!

The warmth, enthusiasm and excitement from team Shack at the open day we attended (in June 2025) was encouraging and comforting-we got a sense that the staff genuinely love what they do and this carried through our whole experience of working with them.

We opted for a pretty quick turn around between proposal (a week after we attended their open day) and our wedding day (less than six months later) and we have zero regrets about that decision whatsoever as we were able to access and be supported by the venue to bring together everything we wanted, exactly how we wanted it.

The amount of items/services included in the booking was incredibly helpful for our budget and exactly what we wanted/needed, if not more! The ping pong tables, giant jenga etc were a big hit with the children (and adults) that attended, and the mountain backdrops for our ceremony and sweetheart table set up looked incredible with our floral arrangements attached.

Access to the venue to set up how we wanted it to look helped reduce stress and pressure to us as a couple and the bridal party, which again felt supportive of us achieving the aesthetic of our day to be exactly how we wanted it.

Every single member of the team that we interacted with were kind, patient, enthusiastic and proactive in offering solutions and ideas where we needed some direction or additional support and the hand over between planning and events teams was seamless. Genuinely can not sing team's praises enough and whole heartedly recommend you get in touch to book your wedding/event today!
