But wary of going into a church for s coffee but apart from a list of services on the table the cafe is separate from the religious element. Lovely coffee and the food looked good - we didn't eat but I did buy the cookbook! Lovely setting for a cafe, the church is wonderful.

Some of the best food available in Hereford in a special location. It does get very busy but we have always been able to find a table.

I've lived in Hereford for 2 years now and always wanted to go here. Took my daughter for lunch and really wish I hadn't bothered. Asked the counter staff how it worked and the lady behind the counter couldn't have been more dismissive and unhelpful. We ordered our coffees which she asked several times to repeat. Whilst waiting myself and daughter were looking at the food offerings in the servery not once did anyone offer to help. The food option signs blue tacd to the counter were not of much help and others were tiny faded and difficult to read. Feeling uncomfortable and hassled we order scones again the server had to clarify the order several times giving the impression she was not really listening. As she completed our order she started dealing with an impatient customer behind us before we even left with our order. Dealng over us no thank you or anything just completely blanked us. It's sad that I have waited ages to visit and according to your reviews you should have been on the ball and yet here I am writing this.....coffee shops are ten a penny in Hereford and many of them with better customer experiences than this. I am very disappointed. People have off days....maybe this was one of them. I hope so but I won't be back

We had soup and mains. It was Very expensive: a small pea soup and tiny roll was £7. My Tofu salad was tiny, just one desert spoon each of two salads and three small slices of tofu was £9, there were no salad leaves and it looked more of an expensive starter than a main. My husband had venison and mushroom pie. It came with 6 tiny pieces of roast potato and a minuscule portion of salad leaves and cost £14. We were still hungry after paying £37 for lunch for two people. The quality of the ingredients was great and everything tasted delicious but we won’t go back as we both had to go out and eat bags of crisps to fill up. Incidentally, we then went to Hereford cathedral where the cafe there does a massive plate of salads for just £5! Or Quiche and salads for £7. Oh how we wish that we had eaten at the cathedral.

Fantastic food in a converted church, delicious and thoughtful vegan / vegetarian options too.

Popped in for lunch today. Lovely setting and any hot food which has not been sold by 3pm, there is the opportunity for people to get it at half price rather than it being wasted. Nice touch!!

Absolutely delicious lunch! Well worth the very reasonable cost, and lovely inventive dishes. Particularly enjoyed the aubergine quiche :)
