Great service and lovely welcoming. Food came fairly quickly considering how busy it was. Food came piping hot and cooked brilliantly. The two Serving staff were extremely polite and helpful. A big shout out to Niamh and Hannah for going the extra mile sorting an abnormal tough steak in a mixed grill. WELL DONE

What an amazing experience, myself and my partner came for dinner and some drinks after when some friends joined us. The food was delicious and great value for what we had. All the staff were friendly and hats off to kaylie who made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and checked in on us throughout our stay. Massive thumbs up all round. My team was playing too and they have screens all over, so that was an added bonus. Will visit again for sure.

Fabulous food with fabulous service! Food tasted lovely, massive portion sizes and good quality. Beth our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. After receiving our meal one of our sauces hadn’t come out, Beth was very quick to rectify this and apologise. She was very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for the lovely food and fab service ?

Went to the local pub the grandstand, food was decent and reasonably priced for the 4 of us, the service was really good especially from Niahm! Who couldn’t be more helpful, she made the visit a joy.

The food was very good it brought to my table by a cheerful girl call Beff who was a very polite person and made us all feel very welcome. All the time my family was there Beff made sure everything was okay and also my son had lots of fun as Beff also kept making my son laugh. I would recommend anyone to go to the grandstand pub as it was a really good friendly place and was made very welcome.

Beth was amazing,helpful friendly, very poor food quality, my lasagne was stone cold with bits of lasagne made up from about 10 dishes looked like mush and tasted awful not one piece of meat in it, that bad I left it, also was only half a portion compared to last time I came ,put Me off coming g as every time before has been lovely.

While out with my son for a meal we were made welcome on arrival. While being here for a meal we had a very polite young lady call Beff who made sure that everything was okay with our food and drinks. I will take my hat off to Beff as all the time we were here she was making sure all tables were clear and tidy and have a laugh with the costumes and make sure that everything was okay.

We visit this pub quite often because it’s a great place. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff is amazing, very friendly, always providing a high standard. The Food is great. I love the layout where you have separate dinning area from the sport/bar side. Special thanks to Beth, Lee and Thom whom made our day special yesterday.

Went here on a Sunday evening so thought I’d try the roast beef dinner. The beef was so tough that I couldn’t cut it let alone eat it! Pretty sure all the veg was frozen not fresh so not pleasant. For the third time of going there I ordered the millionaires cheesecake for dessert and again was told it was out of stock, either order more in or take it off the menu…simple! Asked for the sticky toffee pudding instead and asked for cream instead of custard, it then arrived and was swimming in squirty cream….vile!! To top it all off I saw a nice picture on the menu of a mocktail so ordered that, it came and didn’t resemble the picture at all, it was cloudy instead of clear and had none of the fruit that was in the picture?! I for one will not be going back.

Brought the three kids for a bite to eat. Fantastic deal for £15 to feed all of us with two drinks for the youngest! Couldn’t fault the service, everyone was friendly and helpful (I was the awkward one with the shandy!) and patient! The food was quickly served which was great with boisterous kids and was absolutely delicious. Will be back soon. Perfect for young families!
