I popped in earlier today/ Saturday afternoon I haven't been in since 2006 as I live in Canada now,but I'm home for Christmas and wanted a lamb joint,as normal the lads were extremely helpful and friendly, best butchers in town with great selection. Plus they do gluten free sausage meat.

Have used this great little independent ever since it opened and it never fails to impress me. The staff are amazing and work so hard to please you, always with a smile. The food is of a high quality and locally sourced where possible. If you haven't visited then make it your next place to go, you won't be disappointed.

Reasonable prices, clean. Had a BLT, good amount of bacon and salad. Son had a Heggies breakfast (bacon,sausage,eggs,hash brown,mushroom,beans, tomato,opted out of the black pud), toast, and a pot of tea for a tenner which seemed good value.

Lovely butchers with a good selection of food to go. Does get busy at times but with the wait. Nice sandwiches and pastry products. The Cafe they have over the road is good too. Worth a visit.
