Lovely atmosphere ? ? warm friendly. It was on St Patrick's day and they had a band which were brilliant. Lots of places to sit.

I can honestly say one of the worst pubs I have ever had the miss fortune to visit. Got charged £6.00 for 2 pints of soda and lime. Totally disgraceful. Check the price before you buy. Conning landlord or member of the bar staff. Do not trust them.

We had a beautiful meal last night. I had the 5 bean chilli, and it was so much more than I expected. Delicious food.

What a shocking experience indeed. Had to wait over 45 min at a very quiet period for garlic bread and chips only.I followed up 3 times before it finally came with not a hint of an apology. The food was disgusting, chips were transparent as saturated in old cooking oil and the most awful microwaved garlic bread that went rock hard in minutes.

Charlie Kear-Conway, who is of Coldstone Cross in Kingstone, Herefordshire, was handed a 12-month restraining order and a two-year community order with an electronically monitored 120-day alcohol abstinence requirement, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty. Beat his pregnant partner in the back of the head. Nasty

Visited for Sunday Lunch, booked a table for 2pm, when we arrived the car park was pretty empty - our first warning sign. Our second warning sign was that you could not smell any of the food being prepared however this was our first time visiting the Bullring so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Menu choices seemed promising however when our server came to take our order we were told that half of the starters were not available (bearing in mind they advertise they serve Sunday lunch 12-4pm). Two of us opted for the belly pork and the other went for the breaded mushrooms. When our starters arrived the belly pork was well overcooked and chewy, the mushrooms were hard and over cooked also. No one came to ask if our food was ok. Unfortunately when our mains arrived the disappointment continued - the beef was dry, over cooked and stone cold. The mash potatoes were powdered mash. Yorkshire puddings were rock hard and inedible. Gravy was also clearly powdered and was cold with no flavour. This time our server did ask how our food was, when we gave our honest opinion all she could do was say “sorry about that” and walked back into the kitchen. We didn’t have to think twice about staying for dessert, we requested the bill and nothing more was mentioned and no apology was offered. Disappointing as the pub looks fantastic and offers an amazing selection of drink choices. Sadly we won’t be returning anytime soon.

Had lasagne chips and garlic bread today. Cheap chips, pasta In lasagne was chewy, cheap meat used, gristle, garlic bread was doughy and anaemic
