We visited the Herdsman on a Saturday night out with friends and on the Sunday for a roast. A real pub with a great atmosphere good beer and a stunning Sunday roast. Can’t wait to get back.

Came to Hereford for football, found this great little place close to the ground. Friendly locals, friendly hosts, decent pint and good hearty lunch. Definitely recommend.

Food cooked beautifully. No fancy food here just well cooked, freshly cooked good pub food. The steaks are especially great value for money and cooked exactly as you ask. Drinks at good price. Friendly local people. Bit like Cheers -where everybody knows your name!Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: They have some gluten free options but not too many.Parking: Multistorey paid parking directly across road and plenty other smaller car parks around and paid street parking or free with time restrictions. No car park belonging to pub but is easy to get to being in town centre and around corner from football ground.Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves going on a Saturday for lunch before football match and adores the choc fudge pudding! Kids meals served.

Had a number of full English breakfasts from the Herdsman, through Deliveroo. Food always arrives piping hot, everything cooked perfectly, and more than I can manage on some occasions. Really good food.

Afraid I can only rate it on Breakfast (which is served all day). Had the Big Breakfast and was delicious, all items well cooked (especially fried eggs) and no greasy plate left at end. Would definitely recommend.
