Café, bookshop & bar. Good place to take a pitstop travelling into Wales. Most appreciate the book shelving & table area in the centre.

By far the best full English breakfast in Herefordshire. Great service too. Lovely to support a local business ??????

Fantastic food and a terrific concept with something of interest to all.

I was so impressed with the fact that despite there being a large funeral gathering, and the arrival of over twenty bikers, my breakfast was excellent. It was served piping hot, with top quality ingredients, beautifully cooked and served. Just the job!

A fantastic place to get food. Cooked fresh and a very nice stop off point. Whenever possible we use this place to get our breakfast when in the area.

Fell in love with this place as soon as I entered. Best cheese burger and chips iv ever had. A treasure trove of books. Lovely atmosphere, and Im so glad I popped in. If I'm ever in this area, I'll definitely be popping in again. They have a little something special going on here.Parking: They have their own parking, plus plenty more across the road.

Recommended by a friend some time ago. We weren't disappointed then and vowed to come again. Only managed it again last week and had a great cooked breakfast even tho it had gone past the serving time they kindly served it to us. Lovely place. So interesting and quaint. Used to be a pub many years ago and we even went there ourselves all those decades ago in the late 70s/early 80s .

This place is unusual but why not combine cafe, post office, pub, bookshop and plant shop into one to provide an absolutely brilliant service to a small, beautiful Herefordshire village? We had the best full English, with the most lovely welcome, prior to doing the next section of the Herefordshire Trail; best start possible to a brilliant day. Come to sunny Herefordshire and eat here then walk it off in the stunning countryside; you won’t regret it.

To be honest, I really didn't know what to make of this place.... We'd been travelling, it was dead on noon, the weather was half-way between bad and awful. We'd both had a large breakfast only 3 hours before, and all we wanted was a coffee and a sandwich..... But the lady serving, bless her, was trying to all but push a 3 course lunch on us.. We finally got a pot of coffee for two, and a tuna sandwich.... and a very good sandwich it was too... Now, we were at the cafe end... Finding my way to the loo, it turned out this place was a massive 2nd hand book shop.... which also had a bar at the other end! What an amazing, if a little strange set-up. Oh, the lovely lady serving managed to push a slice of cake each on to us.... One or two other things about this place made us laugh.... the window in the gents was plane glass over looking the street, and the light has a timer on it.... I guess at night time, if you're sitting down too long, you'll be left in complete darkness!...lol. Certainly won't forget this place in a hurry!

My wife and I always stop here for a drink and meal. We always recieve excellent service and always with a smile. They even opened up for us once and served us a meal because we'd stopped on a day when they're usually shut. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and they'll always go out of their way to make their customers happy.
