Had a wonderful Sunday lunch at the Cattle Shed. The food was delicious, really faultless. The service was excellent, really friendly and welcoming staff. After lunch we visited the Python Arms. This is a great cozy pub next door. We will be returning soon and staying in the fabulous accommodation. Today was a special occasion and we were really spoiled, thank you.

We were directed to a table and told someone would come to take our order shortly. Then we were forgotten. I eventually went to the counter and placed an order for teas and cake. A small amount of tea (almost a cup) eventually arrived in a fancy iron cast teapot. The tea was lukewarm. The cake, Victoria Sponge, arrived later. It seemed we had been forgotten, again. The cake was actually quite nice. All in all, a nice looking venue and largely disappointing experience.

What a lovely café, We decided to call in for a coffee and light lunch as we had passed it many times and never tried it. We were very pleasantly impressed, easy access in my power chair, very friendly and helpful staff, the coffee and food was soooo good. Really well worth a visit if you're in the area. The location is beautiful.Parking: A large carpark and close disabled parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome and loads of spaceWheelchair accessibility: Easy access through double doors and a really good amount of room to manoeuvre around inside without feeling in the way. (Wheelchair users will know what I mean) the disabled toilet/baby changing room was spotless and enough room to turn my chair.

I rarely take the time to write reviews but this place was stunning. A converted cowshed as part of Penrhos court (gorgeous listed manor, cottages, pub and cafe/restaurant). We had a drink in the neighbouring Python Inn first which was a pub of dreams, beautifully refurbished with the amount of character and charm you’d want in a pub but rarely get. The lovely landlord explained the incredible rock history of the place and then we took our drinks into the adjoining restaurant for a generous and delicious sunday roast. Thank you I cannot imagine a more perfect setting for our Sunday lunch with friends

I’m sorry to say that although the beer was great, the service excellent , and the environment brilliant the food was terrible. If they keep serving up this type of food I’ll be very surprised if you are still open by the end of the year. It was obvious that no chef was on site and there was no fresh ingredients being used except a small salad leaf. The burger was compressed into a solid lump of something!!!!!! Oh dear - such a shame as we saw this as a destination pub and drove some distance, we will probably stick to closer to home

Seriously, the best burger I have tasted, quality meat cooked just right. Chips also high standard, crisp & dry. The venue is characterful, an interesting place to dine. Service with a smile; a pleasurable experience all-round.
