I happened on this delightful country pub when hiking the borders. I had my best evening here after 16 days of hiking. Run professionally by landlady Jane. Lots of Cider choices, friendly locals, a welcome fire as the evening began to cool and I was able to camp in the garden. Handy for the outside gents which are always open. Jane doesn't do food at all which didn't bother me as I had camping food.

We stayed here while walking the Offa's Dyke path from Hay-on-Wye, and could not have had a better stay. The house and gardens are beautiful, and only a short detour from the main path. Our hosts could not have been more hospitable. The food Fiona cooked for us was delicious. Our bedroom and bathroom were large and well separated from the rest of the house. We left perfectly refreshed for the next leg, a short, beautiful walk over Hergest Ridge to Kington.

This has to be the perfect B&B! Super friendly hosts Will and Fiona have a beautiful Georgian house in quiet countryside, with lovely views. We slept deeply in a big and very comfortable bed, and left feeling very full after a huge and amazing breakfast of local and home made produce. We also loved their recommendation of the quirky local pub! Highly recommended.

We have just spent a wonderful few days at Huntington Court, Fiona and Will’s gift of hospitality started from the moment we arrived until we left, Fiona catered for our difficult dietary requirements and cooked us amazing 3 course meals that were better than many restaurants we have been to!! Their suggestions for activities and amenities were spot on. It was an beautiful location, fabulous accommodation and amazing food!! One to remember!!

A proper pub with an eclectic mix of locals and those that find the pub by chance. Timeless and the better for that.
Best place for miles , proper pub , brilliant
