Nice little pub with friendly locals , nice food and a nice pint. We broke down close by so popped in for a pizza and a pint while waiting for recovery. We were made at home by the locals and a friendly dog. ??

Lovely black and white timbered pub with 2 areas. A bar and pool table some an open fire. The other side has a bar and open fire but laid out for dining. Also beer garden with some traditional pub games for the summer months.Lovely pizza and gammon the evening we went. Friendly service and cosy pub.

We had a family funeral at the village church and refreshments afterwards were at The Bell . The food was beautiful and plentiful and Dave and Lisa were fantastic hosts. Thank you so much.

Staying locally found The Bell hits the spot in all ways, except one. The beer is 5*, the staff are 5*, the food is 4.1/2* and the prices are very attractive by modern standards. Unfortunately too many dogs are allowed to freely do what all dogs do, but please not unsupervised in the pub garden. That really doesn’t enhance the summer evening experience. Dave & Lisa - that needs fixing.
The Sunday lunch was excellent There was four of us I had the nut roast it was fab, the others enjoyed the good selection of meats, Thanks David and Lisa and all the staff a great pub.

Really excellent and very reasonable Sunday carvery lunch, served with obvious pride by the owners. Choice of indoor bar, covered seating area or pleasant garden where we sat in the sunshine with our dog. Good choice of beers and ciders. A great honest country pub, Highly recommended.

Sunday carvery We went for a family meal and we all had a great meal. Really friendly atmosphere, with the owners there on the shop floor with you. We called ahead as one of our party is coeliac and they sorted us out with gluten free options and catered for their needs . Couldn’t do enough . We all had the carvery and plenty of meat and veg. Service for drinks and deserts was excellent. Would we come again ? Most definitely Well recommended

We wanted to book an early dinner for 5.30 but found they didn't start meals until 6.00 pm but they said they would accommodate us which they did.. # Very much a country pub in n a small village but had a good selection of real ales which were well kept. The recommended ale I had was delicious. The menu was a little basic and not too exciting but reasonably priced with decent portions. My hunters chicken was a good portion and delicious. My wife's fish pie was OK but she thought it wasn't seasoned to her taste but she didn't leave any !!! Great service and extremely friendly staff. if we were in the area again I would certainly return.

Visited for our tea with the dog. Lovely meal and the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Brought dog biscuits out with out meal :) they have a nice garden at the back to sit out. The landlord gave us a lift home too. Really nice people and pub with good food.
