Visited with the family for a Xmas Eve breakfast. Poor service, waited 25 minutes for a pot of tea, Pancakes were undercooked and cold, cake was dry. Sandwich was underwhelming for the price. Several dogs in the restaurant, and I do appreciate the establishment is dog friendly, but to have the a black lad begging for food at the table and several dogs barking g in unison wasn’t terribly appealing!! I have 2 dogs at home and they don’t do that!! Such a shame.

A popular place with Ledbury locals and visitors to the area.Situated on the main road from Ledbury to Hereford with plenty of free parking on site.Lovely rustic feel, friendly staff and a nice range of fresh produce.Coffee shop selling hot drinks, delicious cakes and lunch dishes.Plants are sold in the small garden centre area too and dogs are welcome.Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

A little disappointed. I emailed to book as we were going to be a group of 8 at 3pm for afternoon tea, they said this was no problem..When we set off we noted via Google that they closed at 4pm on a Sunday. When we arrived they had told our party that the kitchen closed at 3.30pm. The tea and cake, which was very nice, was delivered to the table without a smile or communication. I absolutely accept that I could have checked the closing time, however they could have made us aware when I booked, as we would have changed our plans. I do not know how they expected to serve 8 people tea and cake in under an hour (or half an hour) as the service was very slow as it was. Had no chance to explore the shop of course. Overall a real shame.

A fascinating place. I wish I'd been there a long time ago. It's perfect. Just love it. Their produce is quality. Thanks to a gentleman who recommended I could get free-range eggs there.Parking: It's very easy. Good amount of space.

Had a very enjoyable morning at The Nest. We took my grandaughter there for a birthday breakfast and she loved it. Food was brilliant and well presented, staff as always were polite, friendly and attentive. There have been many changes made to the whole establishment but it adds to its charm. For me its somewhere that you want to have time to explore. They have the unusual, just the ticket

Cake was rock hard.. obviously been baked and kept in the freezer. Coffee was rank. Service was ok. Lots of eyes in the shop following you around too! Chef behind the counter in whites instead of out back in the kitchen.. far too busy chatting instead of serving so left without items I wanted.

Visited with family after a recommendation about the scotch eggs. They were great. Very tasty (see photo). However, we were pestered by the owners dog (a golden labrador type in a pink harness). It scavenged previously spilt food from beneath our table and scrounged for food - to the point that we felt we had to guard our food. We had to keep shooing it away. Most off putting. In summary, the food was tasty and the staff were friendly but the dog issue would prevent me reattending or recommending.

Stopped off on the way home from a holiday for a quick bite- we shared the charcuterie board and it was lovely! Filling as well as tasty!

The most amazing breakfast, 4 of us went there & got a lot more than we bargained for. A wonderful experience. Will be back!

Found this farm shop/cafe while travelling through the area. You enter into the shop which has fresh produce from, scotch eggs, bacon, sausages, fruit, vegetables, bread, local ales and even had a gin station where you could pick your own bottle and fill it yourself. The cafe is located towards the back which was spacious with rustic features. The food was made with quality ingredients with good sized portions. The cafe was also dog friendly. To the side if the cafe was also a plant nursery which from what we could see had a good selection.Staff were super friendly and attentative would recommend if you were going through the area.

We visited the cafe for breakfast and found the food to be tasteless. The service was acceptable but sadly both of us suffered violent tummy problems within 30 minutes of eating there. I emailed to report this and my reply was basically food poisoning can only occur after 1 to 2 days. That was their response, this is mine.

Great place to meet friends with ample free parking and shopping too! Nice fresh quiche and salad but disappointed many items on menu weren’t available.

Love The Nest - it’s my go-to for a coffee/treat out with a Loved One, or to find a gift, or to get some thing a little bit special to eat or drink. Or to have some downtime and time out. Or to rummage through vintage bits and bobs. Or browse the garden centre. It’s really blossomed over the years I’ve been going as is quite a hub of cool things happening. But hearteningly, The Nest retains its rustic, quirky, down-to-earth and wholesome nature. Do yourself a favour and head over there for a visit

Whilst I can’t fault the food or service, I do take exception to the free roaming very friendly dogs which clearly live onsite. Not only did they check out if we had anything for them to eat , when other dogs (not on leads) came in with their owners there was a free for all perfectly acceptable in a park not next to me while I’m eating a cake.

Called in for a coffee and a cake, The cake was rock hard you had to chew before you could swallow, I found the prices really expensive you wouldn’t won’t to take a family of four to eat here, It was clean and the staff friendly, But sorry very expensive.
