The beds are clean and comfy. It could do with a revamp and for this I'd say its slightly over pricedRooms: Rooms are clean but dated

If locals fighting, swearing and being threatening to anyone they don't know is your thing then this is the place to be....otherwise avoid.Nothing against owners, feel sorry for them that the people in there are like that.

£70 a night with no breakfast included absolutely disgraceful.Dirty rooms and dirty bathroom.Staff wer friendly and some of the customers but in the main the customers wer crude and foul mouthed. No sleep due to ridiculously loud music till early morning. Would I stay again ? Definitely not.

Shocking. No breakfast, shower not working, people vaping in the bar and the whole place smelt of cigarettes........absolute dump

First impression was the window was smashed in the front door, a bit of cardboard was put in its place. Staff couldn’t find us in the dairy. Room wasn’t ready so had to wait until it was. Bar staff was very nice very chatty. We went to the local Italian to eat while room was made up. Arrived back to the hotel where a band was playing. Was told the band will play until 1am. Asked to be taken to our room. We were escorted to the family room by the lovely bar staff. The double room was jammed packed of old furniture. The bed was made up with all clean sheets. The wall beside the bed had what looked to be blood and snot on the wall. The toilet moved when sat on. The top of the hot tap came off in your hand. The shower curtain was dirty and been used previously by many customers before. The water was Luke warm and didn’t come out very forceful. The band eventually stopped playing at 1am and what I can only think is the locals became upset and decided to start fighting each other. Someone must of locked the front door. The regulars didn’t stop and continued to fight outside and kick the pub door in. I have contacted the pub many times and had no reply.Rooms: Don’t stay at the hotel there are better hotels

Nice room, but very noisy due to disco on in bar till 12.30am. Staff were friendly and helpful. Place is undergoing refurb so some allowances to be considered.Nearby activities: Situated in town, close to all amenities.

Booked two nights B&B here for a business trip. My bedroom was at the top of the building, that’s not a problem but the room was a problem. Oh, and the no breakfast! The door was badly fitting and not very secure. The bed was like a marshmallow, firm to sit/lie on, but then you sank in to it and creaked badly. The bathroom had no heating, and had an ancient electric shower with very little pressure. There was no where to put my small suitcase. A dressing table/desk but only a low footstool pouffe to sit on. One power socket with an extension lead was ok. No bedside lamp and no means of turning the overhead light off apart from the main switch by the door. Allegedly high speed Wi-Fi, but couldn’t access my emails or social media from my phone, and my laptop would connect but then couldn’t open any webpage or portal. If I could have given 0 stars, I would have … so the 1 star is for the towels in the bathroom - the only good thing.

Loud, disappointing service, grim facilities. I stopped here for the night when passing through on a charity bike ride. I booked on booking.com, however when I phoned ahead of my arrival I was told there was a Jubilee party in the bar. I was told not to worry as the music would stop at 12pm. My room was above the bar and the disco was so loud the furniture was vibrating! I asked if they had another room but they couldn’t accommodate. The music went on until 1 am. Otherwise I wasn’t expecting much but for £70 it would be nice to have a clean bathroom to use. This was shared which is okay but the facilities were grim. The halls also stank of smoke. In the morning I checked out at 8 am and there wasn’t a member of staff in site. The refused to offer any refund and we’re rude on the phone when I explained. The room and service fell massively short of the 9 other hotels/b&b I stayed at on my trip all of which were similarly priced. I can’t comment on the food as the kitchen was closed for dinner which they only told me about after booking and no breakfast in the morning. I am still pursuing for a refund but they are unresponsive.

I stayed overnight with my daughter, while visiting a friend in Leominster. I loved this hotel for its Britishness, it’s olde-worlde feel, and particularly the decor in our room. Very tastefully done, colours materials, & the flowers a nice little touchWe didn’t have a meal there because we had other arrangements with our friends but everything looked very nice and it was very popular with local peopleThey do have live bands on occasionally and I would’ve liked to have stayed to see a performance but it was nice to hear people having fun in the bar, and it wasn’t obtrusive in our roomBeds were really comfy, the ensuite was very nice with a perfect shower and everything was provided, tea coffee milk sugar TV, power sockets, and of course drawers and cupboards.I’d deffo stay there again. It was very good value & much better than a Travelodge or Premier Inn which are in my opinion hugely overpriced
