I stayed at The Riverside for one night with my husband. We had an absolutely wonderful stay - lunch, dinner, B&B, and we also took advantage of the 'secret' spa facilities located at the top of the garden. Outdoor hot tub, sauna and copper bath, plus I had the additional treat of a massage and facial. All in all, a perfect place to stay. The staff were wonderful, the food is out of this world, the location is a tiny piece of heaven - all in all, a very fortuitous find.

I think I've just had the best Sunday lunch that I can ever remember. Not only was the meat cooked to perfection, oozing with flavour, but the vegetables were amazing. Each portion was a delight. Delicately seasoned with herbs and toasted seeds they were in a class above what is served elsewhere. All accompanied with a generous serving of delicious gravy. The sticky toffee pudding was also superb.
Simply the best.

We love this pub. It has a lovely atmosphere and the landlords are so friendly and welcoming. We also stayed in their Airbnb top quality accommodation with quality furnishings. A very spacious room that has everything we needed, the beds were so comfy and had a great night sleep. We did not have breakfast on this occasion, but if it's anything like the meal we had the evening before, which was delicious. Great size portion and quality ingredients. We will be back. What a great pub ,great service, we were late back to accommodation on second night of planning to eat there ,rang pub ,said we won't get there till 9pm ,they kept 3 dinners back for us ,best Sunday dinner had in long time ,hospitality was outstanding, nothing to much trouble, even offered lift back to where we were staying ,above an beyond, will be stopping here to eat again definitely, thank you very much ,lovely old building as well ,with log fire
