Dietary restrictions: Excellent provision for dietary requirements. Ring ahead and they provide an excellent alternative menu. In my case gluten free.

A glorious evening at the cider barn this weekend! While staying in the area and after several recommendations from locals we called to see if we could be squeezed in that day and are so glad we were. The staff were jovial and helpful, the setting was beautiful and the food was incredible. Though we live a fair distance away we will definitely be back should the opportunity present itself.

What a beautiful restaurant set in a beautiful location, and serving beautiful food. We went here on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday, and it was an amazing experience made special by the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. If you're looking to go out for a meal, then definitely go a try, you won't be disappointed.

Booked a family meal for 16 to celebrate a 70th birthday and it was a superb experience. Our party included young children and everyone enjoyed themselves.Staff were very friendly and helpful and everyone's meal was excellent. Food was served promptly and was delicious for vegan and non-vegan alike. When we arrived we were offered a free glass of cider or apple juice which was a nice touch.Highly recommend The Cider Barn.

Attended a function on burns night. The food was,.. simply put.. INCREDIBLE! Will be thinking about those fantastic flavours for a long time. Totally loved the main veggie option and the dessert a chocolate and caraway torte with brandy soaked prunes, omg. ❤️ The service was super attentive despite being part of a large group booking. I was not previously aware of this location but it's certainly on my radar now and don't hesitate to recommend with 5 stars. It was toasty warm in the barn and beautiful ambiance.

Was greeted with a complimentary drink upon arrival but no waitress came over to ask us if we wanted any more drinks, I think they were expecting the small complimentary drink to last us. It took a while to get the waitresses attention but eventually we ordered more drinks. The place was freezing cold, we spoke to the waitress and she agreed with us but said nothing could be done. Yes, it's a barn with single glazing but it should still be warm inside the restaurant. Should not open if they can't afford to heat the place properly. The beef was in fact beef shin, the cheapest cut of meat you can get, it was nice and tender but very was small. The cheesecake would be best described as mouse and a very small slice, wasn't how a cheesecake should be. Overall the food was quite small portions for the money. Some of the 5 stars reviews below puzzle me. The food was okish, nothing special and the portion sizes are all very small.

We selected The Cider Barn outdoor catering for our wedding at Burton Court Eardisland. Having visited the restaurant before we approached them for our event we were so impressed by the menu, the quality of the food and the service. We couldn’t wait to see if they were available for our special day.Pauline, Sophie and the team listened to all of our ideas on what we wanted to create, budget, offered expert advice on how these could be created into a menu for our wedding breakfast and evening food. Having taken onboard everything we had said they returned to us a well considered menu that met our brief perfectly - fancy for fussy, we had some guests who prefer more simplistic food.Every aspect of the pre planning and the day were perfect. Amazing food, beautifully presented, tasting divine. Each course was perfection. We had the most amount of compliments from guests who were blown away by the food they were served. From those who needed an adaptation to the normal menu for dietary requirements they raved about the creative, delicious meals they enjoyed, saying normally at events they are overlooked and given bland alternatives. What a spread for the evening food, again fantastic quality, generous quantities, no-one went hungry. If you’re looking for a caring, creative caterer for your event I cannot recommend The Cider Barn highly enough. Thank you team!

We visited over Christmas with the family and had a really lovely evening. The barn was decorated beautifully and we had a table near the log fire which made it very cosy. Our food was exceptional as usual and we were delighted to see that vegetarian menu offered as much choice as the main menu, which is not always the case. The staff were friendly and efficient and the service and food were faultless. Excellent value for money for such high quality food.

As an inveterate foodie who has over the past 10 days or so done the rounds of quality mid Wales and Herefordshire eateries a massive thumbs up to the Cider Barn last Saturday evening. Despite being incredibly busy (deserved) the staff were amazingly attentive and knowledgeable when it came to the food on offer. The sea bass was divine! Many many thanks and will certainly revisit at perhaps a post Christmas more leisurely pace( one of your taster menus sounds good)Brilliant experience and many many thanks. What a find!!Owain Llywelyn

Amazing! Highly recommend. I had the partridge to start, venison for a main and chocolate and juniper dessert. All dishes were full of a mix of flavours that really complemented each other. It is in an old barn that's full of warmth and a cosy atmosphere. The staff were friendly and service was surprisingly quick considering everything was fresh. Definitely needing a return visit.

Find it hard to see there are low rated reviews on here, have visited the cider barn on numerous occasions and have never been let down.Went for Sunday lunch time today, had a beautiful mulled cider on arrival. The girls working were very polite and attentive. The fire was on, just the right ambience for a Sunday afternoon in December. The starters were perfect. Good portion size and delicious tastes. The mains had good selection and tasty well cooked vegetables & potatoes.Good pudding, really tasty and once again a good sized portion.I would definitely reccomend going to the cider barn for food.
