We met friends for lunch at the White Lion and were looked after by Camden, who was friendly and attentive throughout. The food was excellent as was the whole experience. Will be visiting again and would recommend.

We had a lovely family meal here today. The fish and chips were especially delicious...so fresh and cooked perfectly. The Staff were very friendly and efficient. Thank you all, we shall be visiting again!

We visited a few weeks ago with a local family member to treat him for his birthday. We were made very welcome by the locals and staff. Our local hadn't been for many years and had very low expectations but it turned out great. All our food tasted amazing, the recommended local ale was enjoyable and the service was perfect. I wish this pub was near me. Well done.
