The noise volume is somewhat excessive for when you can still hear it up by Santander

Friendly and accommodating staff. Went out their way to make us and our dog feel really welcome. Great food, highly recommend the burger, fish goujon sandwich and steak sandwich. 10/10

I love this place. Easy atmosphere, very friendly, staff are lovely. Better Band was playing when I last went, I've seen a solo singer/guitarist too. Food is Burger Bar sort of thing, they are outstanding. Big, tasty, perfect for soaking up the beer. The dirty fries are something else!

I have been to this pub numerous times since it changed hands in November, and it's impossible to fault. The new food menu - no longer tied to Marstons, though the drinks are - is excellent and the new bar staff are friendly and attentive. The new team are working really hard to make the pub work, and should be both applauded and supported.

Vile Rip Off - the barely, if legal bar staff, charged my drunk partner £33 for 8 shots and me £8.70 for a double gin and lemonade all the while with an absolutely foul attitude. When I realised what they were doing - how dare I question her. Pay or leave. All drinks are served in cough medicine plastic cups regardless. The place and its staff ate disgusting and the prices are beyond London. Go there and be taken advantage off.

Glad to see that they got some one in.

We had a fantastic lunch, fish finger sandwich and loaded fries are highly recommended! All the food was made from scratch. The bar managers were very dog friendly. Great pub, would definitely recommend!

Absolutely lovely & cosy pub. Amazing service with great food. Already talking about going back again. We felt very welcome by staff including Mr Bones the resident dog. For those of a musical disposition you will find many of your favourite musical legends adjourning the walls and the speakers.

The current owners haven't been there long, 2 weeks I think. And the kitchen only opened 2 days before our visit. The actual venue perhaps lacked a bit of atmosphere, it was very quiet, maybe a bit soulless? However, the service on both food and drink was really lovely. My mum and I had the legend loaded fries plus the pork belly bites. Both dishes were delicious, like, really good!!I really liked this place. The food and service was terrific; maybe work on the surroundings. However I know its a new place for you, so it'll come in time.
