The Tap House for Motley How Brewery, so unsurprisingly they had Motley Hog beers on.I have only been there for a pint after doing a shop in Morrisons opposite, the beer has always been nice and I felt welcomed.

Love it, company and beer first class.Update still good, impromptu music happens when peps take the instruments off the wall. It gets a lot of tourist in which actually adds to a night, pretty sure they enjoy their nights!

Great little place. Good ales and good company. Music appreciated. Two evenings spent there and loved it.

We popped in to the Tap House on our first day in Ross and instantly loved the place, why because the locals and the owners were so so friendly. After Friday afternoon we decided we would pop in on the evening after our meal in the Royal and had a fab evening with two of the regulars started to gig one with a banjo and the other with a ukulele and sang so many favs from ‘she’ Electric’ to ‘Take me home country road’. Oh forgot to mention the ale ain’t to shabby either. We had to try the Sunday roast as there was a general consensus that it was very good so we did shortly before we left for home, no surprise it was lovely. Thoroughly recommend this place for its atmosphere, friendliness and fine ales.

Popped in whilst staying at local campsite. Staff, range of drinks and atmosphere was brilliant ( and a sneaky free buffet). Revisited the 2nd night to have “pie night”. My first time ever to have slow roasted lamb shank in mint gravy, with a pie crust in a pot dish - I wanted to lick the bowl clean, it was soo soo yummy!. Again, brilliant, friendly owners and regulars.A MUST visit whilst in Ross on Wye

Popped in for a drink and stayed for hours due to very friendly locals and fantastic landlord and landlady. This pub the most dog friendly pub we have ever been to. Dog treats on the bar and dogs allowed to sit on the chairs and make themselves comfortable. A warm welcome to anyone coming in and you leave feeling like a local. The food is excellent. We had the sharer platter with Mac n cheese & a bowl of spicy beans all delicious! A good variety of their own beers/ciders. Will definitely be back!
