Breakfast Restaurants in Baldock

“This is now our second stay at Templars Cross Lodge in Baldock. We came across it by accident as a last minute stay for work we are doing in London and Cambridge, and to be honest, were quite dubious as to the consistently high ratings of every single review on TripAdvisor - but we can report they are 100% true! Sally's lodge is a perfect place to stay! It is super clean and very comfortable. If you are travelling by car, then parking is right by your room, and the station is an easy short walk. The best way to describe Sally is that she is on it! She clearly wants you to have a the best stay possible and although the accommodation is very private, she makes it clear that she is on hand (and we can testify to that with her sorting out a little alarm problem on the evening of our first stay without a quibble). What made it stand out for us is that even if you are travelling for work or for family (as I guess many people may be who stop off in Baldock) it feels like a little treat! A lovely comfy bed, super breakfast, treats and drinks all ready for you in the fridge and little breakfast cupboard, soft fluffy towels, lovely bath products and a real sense that there is no skimping, like you always hope it might be (but sadly we find often isn't). Ten out of ten from us. Book (but please not on the days we need to stay! ?).”
