absolutely outstanding environment, food and service! like foody pubs always used to be. Just brilliant! I hope they never change. Ideal for couples, families, mates, whatever! Fantastic pizza! The staff are just awesome, friendly, kind and professional. Entirely great experience! I only wish they did chips! I've never in my life had lasagne without chips! ''tater-tots'' just don't do it.

We love this pub and its food but the lunch we had was particularly exceptional. The homemade brick oven pizzas have always been fab but there are new additions to the menu including kimchi cakes and aubergine parmigiana which were delicious. The burrata tomato salad…so tasty. And a big shout out to Josh for always looking after us and a brilliant soundtrack in the background. And thanks Jamie for the amazing food!

Came in here every day for lunch and dinner while staying in Baldock, the staff are soo welcoming, they make you feel like part of the family. The food is absolutely unreal, and the pizzas are the best I've ever eaten (and I've been to italy). Warm, welcoming and I will definitely be back here.

Really nice pub , welcoming and a happy place, food , especially the pizza are the best, it is a nice relaxing pub, not expensive, obviously has parking and disabled access. It has some interesting local beers but overall it’s the staff that make it a very pleasant experience,
