...# disappointed, I asked to use the salt and vinegar myself and was refused twice, staff member insisted on doing it himself even though there were bottles on the counter that appeared to be for customers use ( he seemed quite angry ) he put the wrong amount on so sadly ruined it.He then squashed the fish (as if it had personally offended him) muttered continously whilst wrapping it (as if he was trying to curse it) and then virtually threw it at me onto the counter.Very bizarre & disappointing culinary experience as I'm working with a film crew in the area so it's nice to have good food when we are away from home doing long hours . This wasn't it ...Have to say however, that the staff member who served me had an attitude so bad it reminded me of being served by Basil Fawlty ? Worth visiting just for the experience of the staff members bearded tantrums and lack of customer service ?

I got battered sausage and chips and they were very tasty and the chips had lots of salt and vinegar and the same for the battered sausage and they were both very crisp and delicious and the staff were very friendly and fast st cooking and the food wad very cheap for its price and the fish and chip shop itself was very cleanKid-friendliness: Happy and smiling people

Lovley little chippy next to the train station, definitely worth picking up something up if you don't fancy cooking!Clean, crispy batter, large fish, thick chips what's not to like.The inside was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and fast.

Nice pub to watch the football in with very good, attentive service. Not great options on the food menu if you don't want a roast though but understand it's a small kitchen, and £4 for a Soda and Lime is insane.

Lovely pub restaurant with great service. Food was freshly cooked and delicious. For me and my daughter portion was perfect but husband said he could have done with a bit more. Overall great experience with very attentive staff.
