The restaurant was very quiet however we were given a warm welcome and excellent service. My husband and daughter had the lamb dish whilst J had a burger. Our food was very good and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return.

The venue & staff couldn’t do enough for us, Gemma assisted with all my questions in a promptly manner & was more than helpful.

We waited a bit of time for our food to arrive with many items missing and were made to feel like an inconvenience because we were missing lots of our order. Therefore some meals had cooled before rice arrived.
The food was ok, the chicken wasn’t great. It’s a shame as the building is beautifully decorated but for the price, we expected better.

Ice cream is amazing after you’ve had a hot curry. ? We sometimes get takeaway and it’s great too. ? the people are so kind and my dad sometimes orders the curry which you set on fire - its so fun to watch. I love to dip the pita bread into the sauce. Me and my family go there once a month.

Well looked after with amazing food and drinks, but what stood out the most was service, Madie was delightful in the restaurant and looked after us very very well.
We hope to pop back soon to have another enjoyable visit to the Bridgewater arms Hotel

After some discussion, they said they'd try it. It came out quite nice, with a good crust, basic pizza sauce, and a bunch of tasty, fresh looking vegetables. The potato wedges were tasty as well. Had a nice discussion about veganism with the owner, and he's going to look into adding a vegan cheese option. Nice, friendly guys, and very accommodating. The decor is very basic, with one table, as they've only been open a short time, but the place was quite clean.

I’m Coeliac so I do get nervous about cooking processes etc. when I’m out. The amazing waitress put me at ease and made sure everything was GF for me, for my order. 149 High St, BerkhamstedAbsolute gem of a restaurant. We came on a Saturday night. No reservation. The place was packed. They kindly made space for us but did warn us that we really only had about an hour at the table. We sat down, made it selection from the menu and the food arrived with about 15min after that. We had the Thai calamari which I think is one of the best calamari I've had. Light crispy batter, soft calamari; it was perfectly cooked. Then the Thai green curry came, So flavoursome. We had another beef dish recommended by staff and that was excellent too. A couple of Thai jasmine rice bowls and we devoured it all within 20min. We weren't even trying to finish within the hour allocated. It was all so delicious and authentic. If you're passing here, this is definitely a place to go if you want tasty Thai food. Reservations are strongly recommended!

You could take a small deposit or ask people to pre-order but limiting the group size to have full choice of the menu means we can’t come here some of the time as the menu is tiny and there’s a massive premium. Doesn’t make business sense

I feel certain that anyone complaining about the front desk service has never met an Asian Aunty in the service industry in their lives. The service is perfectly fine, they have taken the time to learn my name even though I'm not in there every week and we have never had any problems with the food which has always been top notch (and we have ordered the length and breadth of the menu!).
An order of their Grilled pork dumplings, big spring rolls, pork and Pak choi and medium special rice are a good starting point for anyone looking to share and try this for the first time.
