Ultimately the service lets this venue down, and I won’t be visiting again. I visited in the summer and was served a sandwich that wasn’t cut. I also got sprayed with chemicals when they cleaned the table next to me (I was pregnant and itchy, so this made me annoyed)! Tried them again today and no one in the queue was acknowledged (staff were too busy chatting) for at least five minutes, so I left without purchasing anything. Another lady left too. Junior staff need a lot of training on good customer service.

What's happened to Simmons Berkhansted , Saturday mornings are chaos, staff are too busy making sandwiches to serve customers wanting bread or cakes, why don't they make them up before shop is open or employ just one person extra to serve food other than snacks, they used to have two queues, one for snacks and one for bread and cakes, the queue is often out of the door, this was never the case a few months ago, saying this their bread and cakes are still very good.

Whole order was wrong (delivered through justeat), second time that week it was wrong too so I called to ask why I hadn’t been contacted to possibly change my order instead of just being sent something I didn’t want but was met by the rudest girl on the phone with the nastiest attitude so won’t be going back here again unfortunately but luckily there’s another Simmons up the road In northchurch that does really nice food and has lovely staff. Food that was sent was absolutely disgusting, everything over cooked and dry, chip a tooth kinda food.

Just down in this village for an afternoon and called into Simmons, it was absolutely brilliant, The food was delicious, I had savoury, and my husband had sweet, both high quality. The choice was amazing. Would recommend this any time. It does get busy though. The staff were really friendly and helpful.x
