Best fish and chips in Hertfordshire hands down. Fish cooked to order. Not many genuine places like this left. Highly recommended.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TELEPHONE MANNERS EVER !!!I’ve been a customer before and I called today at 16: 45 to ask if you also deliver and the answer was straight “NO, bye”. I then asked if there is another way to order online from you through Deliveroo or Takeway and your rude lady on the phone asked me to go and google it. She said her name is Emma but that might not be true. She was very RUDE. This is how you lose customers if keep hiring Rude people who clearly don’t give care about your business and sales! Therefore I will never return

Very good cod and chips if your in Borehamwood shopping go to the Golden Plaice for lunch! Worth a visit.

Takeaway and sit in chip shop, OAP special is extremely good value for money and not a smaller portion either. Friendly waitress service and food always cooked and presented nicely.

We have been going to this fish and chip shop for as long as we remember. Tonight we’ve had the most revolting very fishy, fish. For the first time ever we’ve had to bin it. Has this shop changed hands.

Such a disappointing meal which took forever to prepare. Not only did the counter staff seem to overlook our order (which is frustrating when you can literally see the food ready!), the salveloys were cold, the batter was crispy, but fish wasn't hot. Chips again, could have been warmer. Used to be a good spot but we'll not visit again.
