Wonderful food and atmosphere- but it took so long for us to get served which wasn’t great but wasn’t a deal breaker. We were there for maybe 2 1/2 hours. And we managed one drink and a main, we would have had dessert and another drink but we’d been there for a while and had had enough. Only thing I hated was the fire was not managed properly made our clothes absolutely stink of smoke!! It only happens to open fires when not managed and allowed to go out.However I would 100% go back because this is just what happens sometimes. I would have not cared about the wait had it not been for the fire. Oh and LOVED being able to have Moët and Chandon as a glass! Would go back just for that.

This is our second visit to The Cowpers Arms. We came over Christmas where the fire was warm and Santa was handing out presents to the kids. It was such a good morning brunch we decided to come again for Mothers DayBrunch once again was delicious, fresh eggs, local bacon and sausages- generous vegetarian portion and kids enjoyed brioche, thick yoghurt and berries.The fire was cracking in the corner, the staff were friendly and service was good.Can’t wait to come back

We had our work Christmas party here and it was great. They did a buffet of food that was good, the bar service was quick (their was lot of us), we had half the pub to ourselves (while restaurant side stayed open) with a DJ and dance for. It was a very good night and the staff were welcoming. Overall very good.
