We had heard that the food here was surprisingly good (given it's village location in sleepy Herts), so we booked in for a Friday night dinner in January! We normally go into London but thought we would try local! It did NOT disappoint. The service and food were extraordinary. First vist here since it re-opened. On the whole it was a good experience. The staff were attentive and the food was a bit better than I was expecting. I have been to some slightly upmarked restaurants and gone away feeling a bit hungry still! My only moan and why not? I did think it was slightly ont the pricy side

There is not a thing we would change about our experience tonight. My partner and I have not stopped talking about how incredible the food was. We came to this unassuming pub on a whim and will be returning as soon as we can. Absolutely perfect!
