The staff were lovely and made excellent recommendations.The food was tasty and good value for money.The restaurant is nice, we visited on rainy Thursday night so it wasn’t very busy, but there was still a nice environment with good background music.

I was walking down Harpenden high street ad I was hungry, and I was a sign on the wall saying Cinnamon Indian restaurant and I had an sudden desire for curry. I walked into a very unassuming restaurant where I was met with a smile and a welcome to the restaurant, always a good start. I opted for takeaway, and walked out a few minutes later with lovely smelling food. Meaning that the incredibly slow drive home was torture, as it smelt so good. when I got home, I was not disappointed the foot tasted as good as it looked and smelt. I really nice meal. Next time I am in harpenden and hungry, I know where I am going.

All dishes tasted the same.Waiter kept knocking into my chair and shouting at another waiter. Plus my friend has been charged twice on receiving his bank statement, besides reassurances at the time this wasn’t the case.

First timer, starter popadoms and sauces excellent, cinnamon special balti rich tasting, tender chicken & lamb, lovely king prawn - excellent, naan was fluffy and perfect, sag aloo full of flavour. Malbec was gorgeous too!

Just brilliant from the popadums to the main course, 10 out of 10. The prawn purée starter and the prawn Dhansak was out standing with lots of depth to the flavours with bit of a kick but not over powering. Friendly staff and the restaurant itself has a nice ambiance with the sound of authentic Indian music in the background to set the mood.
