20a Leyton Rd, HarpendenWe had an incredible meal today in the private room for our daughter’s first birthday. The booking process was great and they kindly let us bring our own birthday cake. The service on the day was impeccible. Jada went above and beyond, from making sure that our drinks were topped up and the food was correct to setting up an iPad corner with cushions for a 3 year old in our party to enjoy. We couldn’t fault anything!

For me, I ordered a spaghetti Puttanesca, the spaghetti cooked in al dente and the sauce is rich with olives, tomato, capers and anchovies that is so delicious!

Very polite and friendly staffs, owner personally ensures guests are having a great time. Price is reasonable and the portion size is quite big. One of my favourite places for eating out.

104 High St, HarpendenI've visited Tabure a few times now and I've always had a great experience, staff are great and the food is always delicious.Sitting on the high chairs gives a great view of the chefs prepping and cooking food, tapas style menu so it's suggested you order a few dishes per person and honestly every dish packs flavour and cooked to perfection.Harpenden has a great choice of restaurants and Tabure is easily one of the best places to eat, the chicken wings and pulled lamb are recommended

We asked for chicken tikka massala but it was misunderstood as chicken tikka. They then came out and delivered a fresh new chicken tikka masala free of charge. I ordered a large pint of Peroni for £6:45 and nice and chilled. They also do a smaller pint if you prefer. The atmosphere on a Saturday night was lively and the woman bathroom’s are super! The decor was great and I liked that they add hand cream to go with the hand wash. I only put a star down, because I have not tried the food. But yes if I’m in the area again I would not mind going here again.

Had a nice crunch though and olive oil was a high quality. Main I had the bacon loins. Delicious marinade but the bacon itself was so salty it was borderline inedible. Only good sauce and very well cooked chips saved this plate. Would expect better for the price. Service was good although was never checked to see how food was

Takeaway downstairs but we always eat in upstairs where they have lovely wooden beamed dining rooms, very afternoon tea feel! The menu is v reasonably priced and the meals come with their homemade tartare sauce and one of curry/mushy peas/coleslaw. Personal favourite is the scampi and chips and I always have it with a cream soda.

They did, however, have some delicious cakes which we brought to takeaway. The woman who served us was very friendly. They didn't have any dairy free alternatives for hot drinks.

Nice place to bring children as it has a massive central green and playing fields out the back with a nice woodland walk and a virtually traffic free perimeter round around the green for youngsters on bikes or scooters.

They had a special £7.99 for a medium pizza you pick up, which I thought was quite reasonable, so I went twice and had the chicken fajitas pizza, which is really nice. On the third occasion, which was within a week, I went back, and the sign had been removed, and a handwritten piece of paper stuck close to the till stating the medium had gone up to £9.99. I bought a pizza, but at this price, I won't be able to have their pizzas very often. Great pizzas, though!

We were seated at a lovely table right under the olive tree which really felt special, we were given some sparkling wine at the start to congratulate us, and some limoncello shots at the end as well. The food was excellent, really good portion sizes, and the service was good timing bringing out the food and checking in without being too much. The staff made it a very special evening for us one of the best meals out we have had for sure. Thank you so much!
