The lamb and pork & scallops were exquisite, accompanied by fresh vegetables and a superb wine for the price (sub £25). Our table had been given to another couple by accident but the head waiter found us another table within 2 minutes despite being fully booked so well done. The waitress Alena was great, even letting me sample the wine before choosing a bottle. It's a shame that she haughtily rolled her eyes when the payment was declined whilst paying the bill which left a bad feeling after an otherwise wonderful dining experience. Recommended.

135 Southdown Rd, HarpendenWonderful service and consistently delicious food made with clearly fresh ingredients. I order takeaway weekly, and it’s always freshly made and picked up warm. The ladies are incredibly friendly and so helpful, even when I place last-minute requests.
As a working mom, this place has helped me immensely, it’s been a lifesaver for family meals. My family absolutely loves the chicken curry, goulash, and kebab rice. Highly recommended.

Tom and chef Andrew absolutely on point, they took care of us and showed us the way!
The wine selection, to die for, very approachable and easy to navigate.
The food, wow, the power house is present in every ingredient! I recommend to go trough the set menu so you get a good experience!
Clean, assertive in it’s taste and very welcoming, 100% recommend it!

They have made a wonderful job of the refurbishment but as always the food is the star of the show! Pizzas are excellent and deserts too! All very reasonably priced too! If you’re in the area give it a go! No affiliation just a satisfied customer!!

62 High St, HarpendenMy partner and I were in Harpenden for a family funeral. We were intentionally early, wanted breakfast and found Okka almost by accident. We struck gold.
There was a great choice though oddly we both opted for their 'Bubble & squeak'. It was absloutely delicious.
Friendly, effecient service and tasty sustaining breakfast. What's not to like?

Return visit a few years on. The menu is a little more refined and very good. Particularly enjoyed the chopped tomato, cucumber and onion salad as a side dish. Lovely fresh mint tea to end the meal.

Suggest you either need more staff for a wedding breakfast or you need to suspend normal restaurant service when you have a wedding party in.

The dining area was nice, but too dark lighting wise in my opinion.
Had a bit of a surprise leaving the venue as the bar area and front outside patio area was really busy, with a lot of younger clientele, but it was just before Christmas so expected and looks like a popular venue for the town.
Overall a great evening for the meal.

188 High St, HarpendenAfter a big birthday lunch, a 50th, we decided to go for a drink. We were able to use the orangery, staff were friendly and happy to accommodate us, including Mabel the dog. Since we had the birthday cake and nothing to eat it with, staff provided plates, forks and a knife. We had a great time, really enjoyed ourselves. Massive thank you!

As our device was out of battery as he seemed to get a bit restless in-between meals . Other than that the waitress was really pleasant and accommodating. The food was nice especially the calamari and the kids pizzas , which were super fresh ! I do feel the pasta was perhaps frozen but again was pleasant enough . I do recommend that a drink comes with the childrens 3 course menu option.

Making sure our dog had water and treats and genuinely caring about our experience. The food was absolutely amazing. Such a wonderful evening. Angelina was also fabulous. The young lady who took the booking was very friendly and extremely helpful. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady who knew immediately where we were sitting. We were shown to our table and looked after all night by a young lady who was attentive, friendly and helpful without being pushy. The food was amazing. I had the roasted vegetable tart which melted in the mouth. Absolutely gorgeous. Our dog is a nervous rescue having been thrown out at Christmas 2 years ago and all the staff brought her treats to help her feel at home. We will definitely be back even though we're an hour away as it was a wonderful evening. Thank you to everyone for making it a fantastic evening. Merry Christmas to you all

Lyndhurst House, 11 High St, HarpendenI attended this particular Costa today with my Mother during the bank holiday. The shop itself is dated but the customer service makes up for it. My mother is partially deaf and the staff were so patient with her and helped explain the coffees to her. I had a really nice breakfast, my croissant was nice and warm and my coffee was very smooth.
