“I went here for lunch. Lovely setting and the lunch menu had a good choice although limited, the food was good but perhaps a little overpriced for what is on offer. However pleasant experience.”

“Happy buzzing ambience and delicious home cooked food. The calamari were cooked to perfection with the lightest delicious batter. I had the seafood 'Mare' risotto, which was creamy and rich with a hint of chilli. It is hard to improve on this, especially as it was all topped off with friendly and effortlessly efficient service. Thank you.”

“Celebrated my stepson’s 16th birthday at Pizza express in Harpenden yesterday 16:02/2025! The staff were absolutely wonderful and friendly, the food was amazing however the only thing that put a slight strain on the day and sad to say on the staff as well was their manager! For one very in appropriately dressed, wearing a top showing off her stomach is not appropriate attire for working in a restaurant and certainly not as a manager, two the manager was NOT very friendly or welcoming as matter of fact she was the complete opposite! You could clearly see this had an effect on the staff ! Which is a pity because the staff were absolutely amazing! The manager should not be in the management position with her horrible attitude and inappropriate clothing!”
