Indian • “I happened to be in the area on a brisk autumn eve. I was cold, alone and in need of love. I felt an awakening warmth from my right… there it was ‘Dalcini’. I didn’t know a lot about this place but I just knew I had to go in. Upon entry I was greeted by the fine gentleman above, and it’s fair to say my life changed from that point onwards. Everything my life was deprived off since I was a small boy was a laid out on a table in-front of me. From the sheer quality of food choices to the outstanding level of service it truly was something else. I didn’t know dalcini on a personal level but I know he’d be proud of the boys.”

Indian • “My partner and I both dined here during the curry night promotion (£15pp for a starter, main, side and rice or naan). The food quality is impeccable, so good and so fresh. The soft drinks are quite pricey at almost £10 for 2 diet cokes. This was the only thing that left a slightly bitter taste in our mouths however overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant. Both Dine In and Takeaway options both taste great.”
Indian • “River Spice - spice by name, spice by nature! Great heat for those that enjoy spicy curries. River must come from the amount of liquid over protein. The chicken could’ve been farmed in Chernobyl. The prawn puri had been scorched by a Samsung micro oven - Uri Gellar would of been jealous of the bend left in the knife. I’d say either upgrade your microwave or chef.”

“Went for a meal here last night. Lovely food and great service. The staff were all really friendly! This is a authentic Southern Indian food and not as spicy as your standard Indian dishes but very tasty. I had a Prawn starter and Kingfish curry main plus we had a nan bread, also different and much lighter in texture. At the end of the night we were offered a complementary drink and as it was my wife's birthday they brought her a very nice banana dish with icecream. Old Hemel is def the best place in the town to head for a night out and plenty of pubs within a few yards to try out. ?”
