Booked a birthday dinner 2. Weeks ago for today. Party of 9, turned up for our 7pm booking just now and there is a sign on the door "closed for refurbishments". Not received a single call or email to tell us so we are outside in the pouring rain, 9 of us! Some of which travelled from London for this disappointment. Sad thing is, we love the food and service at mazzas. But this is ridiculous. Zero stars for todays experience.

My recent dining experience at Mazza Indian Cuisine was truly exceptional, thanks to their outstanding customer service and remarkable attention to accessibility. From the moment I entered, I noticed their commitment to being disability-friendly, with staff readily available to assist those in need. But it wasn't just their accessibility efforts that impressed me; the food was absolutely incredible. Each dish was a masterpiece of flavor, showcasing the richness and authenticity of Indian cuisine. What truly set Mazza apart, however, was the personal touch of the chef. Not only did they come out to greet every table, but they also took the time to inquire about our evening and eagerly listened to feedback about the food. This level of interaction made us feel valued and appreciated as guests. In conclusion, Mazza Indian Cuisine goes above and beyond in every aspect of hospitality. From their disability-friendly environment to their phenomenal food and personalized service from the chef, it's clear that they prioritize the satisfaction of their customers. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mazza Indian Cuisine, and I must say, it was an experience to remember. From the moment I stepped in, the service was nothing short of amazing. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. One thing that stood out to me was their regular live music events. It added a lively and vibrant atmosphere to the restaurant, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Now, let's talk about the food. If you're looking for that old school Indian taste that reminds you of home-cooked meals, Mazza Indian Cuisine is the place to be. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and spices, transporting me back to the streets of India.Overall, Mazza Indian Cuisine exceeded my expectations. With exceptional service, regular live music events, and delicious, traditional Indian cuisine, it's definitely a must-visit for any food enthusiast.Vegetarian options: Big selection of veg section and veganParking: Loads of space outside the restaurant after 6pm.

I visited this restaurant after being a regular guest for takeout to dine in with my family. The manager kindly asked us to Leave because we asked for a corner seat for my autistic son to be comfortable. My son hadn’t said anything or acted inappropriately once but when we mentioned that he had autism we were told that we weren’t welcome to sit in only to have a takeout. Never in my life have I heard anyone treat someone with special needs so herendously. I would never be going back again

Explosion of flavourWell where do I begin…what an amazing family experience we had at MAZZA!If you want those old school traditional flavours then this is the place be! What a gem! The ambience is perfect. Family run….the staff are so welcoming and attentive. Their recommendations are spot on and the restaurant itself is spotless! The menu is impressive it has something for everyone! The fact that this Indian restaurant have created their own vegan dishes says a lot for the time and effort put in by the chefs which not all Indian restaurants offer. We had a mix starter including tandoori lamb chops, meat samosas, tandoori chicken…the meat was so succulent. For me the standout was the mushroom bhaji wow this buttery dish just melted in my mouth! The lamb Naga was perfect… spicy but not overpowering you are still able to taste the fusion of spices. We had both chicken and king prawn biryani with the vegetable curry the kids particularly commented on how tasty these were. But for me the best of all was the lamb shank….I have never tasted anything like it! The meat just fell off the bone so succulent, the sauce was authentic and delicious.10/10 experienceCompliments to the chef and everyone who works at MAZZA!We will be returning…highly recommended!

Really lovely place for dinner. I came last night with family and the staff were very hospitable and friendly. The food was delicious and there was lots of options to choose from. My favourite was the lamb shank with the garlic Naan and the vegan dishes were flavoursome too. I definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon.

Lovely meal beautifully served with friendly and attentive staff. As a family we've been going to Indian restaurant on Christmas day for nearly 20 years, this was amongst the nicest and tastiest. Even if they did forget to make our pre order? We had a great time thanks to Naj and his team.

I have tried most of the Indian restaurants in hemel and this has been the best, the food and ambiance is amazing. The staff were so friendly and made the dinner night one to remember. Definitely visiting again.

I have eaten at this restaurant twice, once about six years ago, and then again on 16/12/2023. After the first visit I swore I would never eat there again as the food was so disgusting. However, in the interim a friend told me that the restaurant had changed hands, and as a result, had improved. Sadly this is not the case. The food was beyond vile, and I can say that it was the worst Indian food I have ever had anywhere in the UK, or for that matter anywhere in the world (and I have travelled extensively, including India). Worse than that, it was the worst food of any type that I have eaten in my travels, both in the UK and abroad! In conclusion I would say that Mazza should be closed down with immediate effect.

Always an excellent meal at the Mazza. Really enjoyed the show with Elvis Shmelvis too.
